Isla Cristina doesn't seem to receive many international travellers, so the nightlife is very much focused on the local culture: too much reggaeton and music in Spanish language in general.
But it is still a place with very nice and friendly people (as Andalusians are) and very good quality and cheap food. You can enjoy fresh fish and meat and high quality local fruit.
The weather is always warm on the coast. Not too hot. The water temperature is quite fresh, so every dip in the water is refreshing.

Beautiful beaches, affordable tours by boat or tuk tuk, nature reserve, Salinas, learning about salt production, crabs, fishing, eco system, flamingos, it's a little paradise, 80% of inhabitants love from fishing. Very interesting to see. The town itself is not too beautiful, but people are friendly. Good place for going to the beach or chilling at the pool with some short trips to surrounding areas by boat or tuk tuk

I love the place.
I love the place. I come to rest and have some beach baths but the swimming pool was so great and all the facilities that I keep myself inside the resort. Isla Cristina is nice and quiet. I went to dinner once near the port but I should admit that the food of the restaurant of the hotel was better, more diverse and well balanced.

Pretty island, beach resort but not just seaside, a real community of fishermen, bars, restaurants and business, and the salt pans which were fascinating. The scenery is beautiful with the umbrella pines everywhere casting their green shade

Dirty, run down, trash everywhere, dog dirt on the sidewalks. Very industrial feel, empty property lots, groups of men smoking and drinking on street corners, lack of nice restaurants. Definitely will not be returning. The only positive is that there is cheap local seafood.
This Hotel is a beautiful, traditionally Spanish, well maintained and clean family run hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Had a nice view of the pool but this time of year a bit cold for a dip hence pool closed. Nice bar area and separate lounge which we used in the evenings. No issues with COVID all staff wearing masks and tables and chairs cleaned when guests moved on. Beach is a 2 min walk with restaurants/bars. There is no lift only stairs, however my husband has a walking stick and didn’t find the stairs a problem.
Apartment room was a good size, fridge had a freezer section so good for freezing a water bottle. Nice evening activities for the kids. The nearby beach is amazing. Breakfast and evening Buffett dinner was ok, a decent selection and evening menu changed each day. Was disappointed with the hotel on arrival but left feeling happy. If you have kids between 5 and 15 this hotel will keep them happy. They evening activities for the kids are fun. Mercadona is next door to the hotel so don’t worry about food or drinks.
Price was set according to late season, which of course influences my sum up sentence. However, small, but suitable room. Also small, but really nice bathroom. Best of all a balcony facing south, hence also the beach and sea. You literally walk directly from the hotel terrace on to the beach. Staff besides being friendly and accommodating were extremely helpful and flexible- e.g. they got up 2 hours before opening time to make me coffee (as I had to leave early). Much appreciated…
Food was pretty good, very well made, fresh fruit and fish and a lot of variety.
The gift they give on checkout was a nice touch.
The pool size is adequate for the number of guests, never felt crowded.
Location is also good, could get to town center by walking, by bicycle (rented on site) or by catching a road train (kids loved it and the driver is nice, allowing people to step out for a walk and step in later to return to the hotel)
Cocktails are well made :)
What could be more perfect after a long, hot drive than a cool drink from the bar in a rooftop pool with views over Isla Cristina? This hotel has a relaxed and fun vibe that is irresistible. The rooms are comfortable with nice showers, quiet air conditioners. Sparkling clean. Nearby you find excellent tapas in a casual setting and wonderful beaches with paddle boats, beach chair rental, etc. My friends and I had a great time and highly recommend this hotel.
The house is wonderfully typical of the region. Its two levels offer a delightful series of spaces to explore and relax in, with thoughtful attention to details. The owners really know how to make you feel welcome and immersed in the atmosphere of Isla Cristina. They also have very good taste and enjoy sharing their wealth of knowledge on the surrounding area.
The staff at this Hotel are extremely friendly and work hard especially the restaurant staff and the animation guy. It was a pity the entertainment was all in Spanish as we couldn't join in but everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves. The Hotel is ideally situated very close to the beach and has pleasant walks along the beach through the pine trees.
the lady that deliver the key was Rude , made us rush to get the keys , i was traveling from Portugal , she said i need to come before 2 pm to collect toehrwise she will be gonne , she did not explain anything we did not manage to conect the internet .The host and the lady that deliver the key were very unprofessional n rude
Nice hotel, 2-3 minutes walk from the beach and with a sizeable pool that I enjoyed quite a lot. Room was clean and fairly comfortable, except that it lacks a fridge… not a good idea in sweltering heat. At least they offer very cold beer at the bar!!! Nice staff, breakfast was ok, all in all very good value for the money.
I enjoyed my stay there and I would definitely repeat. The hotel has kind and helpful employees, a delicious breakfast, comfortable rooms, and a pleasant pool. This hotel offers more than other two-star accommodations. It is located just two minutes away from the nearest beach and near to a pair of places to hang out.
The swimming pool, basement with ping pong table and other games and the grill are just great for relax, loved how close it is to Isla Cristina and islantilla, very calm surrounding, the place was clean and you have all what you may need there.
The hotel was very nice and clean. The food was very good with lots of variation. The staff was very friendly and they seemed to have a very good working atmosphere. The location is very close to the beach.
Beautiful hotel, great food with different themes every day, very friendly staff, and huge family apartments with big comfortable beds, two bathrooms and super nice views.
The hotel is located by the beach, hence the view is very beautiful in the morning. The staff stays late for our arrival and check-in. The room is tidy.
