Hotel Makarios has a very welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. They answered all questions fast and can also give all the information to getting around the island, finding tours or rentals, if you want etc. Hotell was situated near Kamari beach, which has nice restaurants and beach area. The room was very clean and quiet (didn't even hear the planes getting up and landing at the nearby airport).

An attractive stone-paved promenade road runs parallel between the seafront shops and the long dark-sand beach, inviting one to take a pleasant evening stroll as the sunset colors glow in the sky.
