The host was amazing and helped us with a late arrival. Sent a person to open the gate and check us in to the property. The location was amazing - a slice of heaven in Tuscany. The breakfast was great with a full set of choices with breads, meats and juices and coffees. The lady was very accommodating with refills. It was served in an open area. We met an elderly couple who were travelling from Germany as well and we spent a good 2 hours chatting. This is a must visit location.

We have been to Arezzo a few times now and it is just wonderful! A stunning little medieval town that doesn’t get too many visitors. Buzzing at night, and lovely, cobblestoned clean streets during the day. A super treat if you’re there during Saracino festival times in June/July or September - look it up, it’s very well worth the visit!

There is an antiques fair in the city the first weekend of each month -- best to avoid Arezzo during those weekends as it's very crowded. Also best to drive there because trains go there but taxis can be hard to come by. It's a beautiful small city and if you stay in the old part of town you can walk to anyplace you want to see. The highlight is unquestionably the Piero della Francesca frescoes in the San Francesco church (reservation needed). At night many of the side streets seem deserted but I never actually felt unsafe. On the other hand you can get into any restaurant you want and the major piazzas have a festive feel in the evening. I was there for 1 1/2 days, including a side trip to San Sepolchro, and I was satisfied with my stay.

February 2023: Built on a small hill, two hours from Pisa by train and just an hour from Firenze, Arezzo is a very pleasant mediaeval city in south Tuscany and a place to spend a little time in. The city is lively but not crowded and walking around the old buildings and the city walls is easy. Although cars and vans go everywhere traffic is not a problem for visitors on foot.
Good food is easy to find and especially at the Piazza Grande where Logge Vascari looked after us on several occasions.
Remarkable experience.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, Alberto, and his welcoming staff. The facilities are state-of-the-art, rooms are spacious, luxurious ambiance, beautifully decorated, and offer stunning views.
The location is great and conveniently situated.
The food in the hotel’s restaurant was delicious!
Everything about our stay was flawless, making this easily one of the best, if not the best place we've ever stayed at.
Absolutely everything! A little bit of heaven and paradise on earth! The most beautiful setting and family I have had the pleasure of staying with. Stumbled across Arezzo and this hotel by accident with my sons football. I will be back with the whole family. The city is a 20min walk and is stunning. Vibrant with bars, restaurants and beautiful clothes shops! Don't hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed!
Excellent response from host and exceptional attention to detail.
Lovey decor and very modern with the Italian touch. Kitchen very well stocked and comfortable lounge furniture
The location was as good as it gets with the centre a short walk away
Also a very smart QR code with all the best attractions in Arezzo
Enjoyed the comfortable bed . Highly recommended
We will be back
Thanks Stefano
The staff at Hotel Minerva always seemed preoccupied, and not very helpful. One reception desk staffer even told me to come back later when I asked to settle my account - bec a big group was getting on their buses. I guess too much going on for him. To be honest, they all looked overworked and understaffed in general. Who could blame them for a poor attitude?
The apartment is very conveniently located on the main avenue of Arezzo, a stone's throw away from the centro storico and it comes with a free parking space, a big plus. The basic room is perfect for a short stay - clean, comfortable, in a quiet area. For someone travelling to Arezzo to enjoy the city, it is more than enough.
Hostess was fabulous, very attentive. Lunches, breakfasts superb gazing at peaceful countryside. There is a piano.👍Service is really good(but stops at 1730). Beautiful pool with great sunloungers and bar service. Short drive to Arezzo, which has a lot of parking. Quality of accommodation is really good. Very clean and quiet.
A nice quiet, conveniently located hotel. The location was ideal - a very short walk (5-7 minutes!) to the train station! There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel. Lots of restaurant options nearby too. Beautiful rooftop terrace. Spacious room.
The staff was friendly, especially the bellhops. On point!
Great location, in between the train station and the old city of Arezzo. I chose the hotel as a base to explore Umbria by train. Although i had make a reservation for a single room they gave me a bigger one. The room was renovated with a nice bathroom. Good value for money.
A nice, very big apartment in a central location. Fully equipped kitchen, with everything you might need. Very nice and accommodating owner, who also gave us a little intro to Arezzo and some valuable recommendations for the city.
Everything was spot-on, really comfortable. Staff made sure we had plenty of the necessities, even came to change our towels and made our bed. The apartment was spacious and we are glad we came here for our stay in Arezzo!
a very clean hotel by the motorway but no noise whatsoever ever. Although the restaurant is across the hotel car park the food is fantastic ! Dont be put off by the exterior looking very modern, superb family food!
Deceived about location as Arezzo described in positive terms and this Hotel too. Hotel on corner of large circular square with trees and seating which was occupied by what appeared to be street homeless drinking,
La Striscia provides fabulously stylish accommodations in a location that feels like it is in the country but is a 20-minute walk to the center of Arezzo. The staff is uniformly friendly and helpful.
It was close to the main road so we could travel to every place we wanted to go.
The stuff were nice and we helped us with every question we had.
The hotel had a free parking which was great
The house is wonderful, well equipped and very cozy. The host is also helpful and really friendly. All recommendations if you’re looking for accommodation in Arezzo.
I liked how clean the room and hotel was,
I liked how friendly the staff was and how helpfull,
I liked how close the hotel was to the town center of Arezzo,
