Marta welcomed me, checked me in, and offers suggestions of where to grab a bite.
The dorm was spacious, nicely lit, the kitchen lounge area was comfortable with a quaint view.
The washrooms were spotless and as it’s still winter I was the only Peregrino for the night so I locked up behind me once I got in from a bite of dinner.

Very peaceful setting overlooking the nearby fields. Nice garden area for relaxing, hanging washing to dry, and enjoying a drink. Very clean inside. Showers were great. Location was not too far out of town and gave me a head start on the next day’s walking. Hosts were friendly and made an extra effort to reunite me with my walking sticks when I left them there accidentally.
Molinaseca is a lively town. A lot of excellent restaurants, bars and hostels. Mountains and a river surround it. Through a nice track, 3 km away, there are two Roman bridges. It's nice for a morning walk. I saw 2 deers this morning.

Molinseca is a very beautiful town. Full of character.
Molinseca is a very beautiful town. Full of character. Some of the restaurants/ cafes were on the Riverside which was great. The locals were swimming in the river when I was there. I was happy I stayed there.

The owner Raul was such a character.
The owner Raul was such a character. He explained everything to us as the buffet breakfast was self service. He was delighted that we were staying for 3 nights as a lot of people probably only stayed overnight on their pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela The room was spotless and a decent bathroom made the stay very comfortable. He ran the supermarket within the building and his brother Jorge ran a nearby restaurant. The brothers could not be more helpful. Our party were given a signed bottle of wine on our departure. A really nice touch.
Alejandro is an exceptional host. Arriving later than anticipated from the Camino walk from Rabanal, my family were a little concerned. Alejandro was in contact with my daughter until I arrived. He even then organised for my dirty laundry to be washed and dried. Further on leaving next day, I had left my power plug in the wall. I was quite prepared to buy another, but Alejandro personally delivered it to my hotel in Ponferrada. Alejandro offers 5 star service.

The hotel had a rustic vibe and charm with exposed stone throughout, however, it was very much 21st century, with tech and finishes.
Also, the hotel occupied a great location being at the far end of the town on the path of the Camino. It allowed you to walk through the Main Street observing shops, restaurants & bars, before finally arriving at what can only be described as a little of oasis of rest & tranquility!
We liked everything about this hostal and would definitely stay there again. The staff was AMAZING and cooked an authentic Brazilian dinner and breakfast for us. We were walking the Camino, and this hostal was right on the path. The room was really cute and comfortable. This stay truly stood out among the many places where we stayed for our month in Spain, and we look forward to a return trip.
The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and stylish. Rooms are super comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and gracious they went out of their way for us which was much appreciated. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous. The price/quality ratio is outstanding. Such a lovely little village.
Completely new renovated house in the center of Molinaseca. Everything was really clean, the kitchen is well equipped.
It was a really pleasent stay. If I was on the Camino again, I would definitly go there again!
Wonderful food! Great staff and service. The owner's son (sorry, I don't remember his name) was helpful and charming. The town of Molinaseca is lovely. Spend at least 2 days there to enjoy all of the beauty.
Very nice old building that had been tastefully converted into a hotel. Right in the center of the old town on the Camino, near restaurants and coffee houses. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
This hostel was a good value. well located in the Central part of Molinaseca. The staff was very friendly. There is a kitchen for those who want to cook their own meals.
Beautifully designed and modern hotel located within a 2 minute walk of Molinaseca. The staff were very friendly & helpful and the suites were spotlessly clean & tidy.
One of the cleanest place I stayed in Spain. Good beds, quiet and breezy. Friendly, welcoming staff. A few minutes walk to the pretty riverside village of Molinaseca.
The room was nice and the shower had good water pressure. The owner also runs the supermarket downstairs and he's a good guy. The hotel is on the Camino.
