We went to historic attractions ( Susan B Antony Home) as well as the museum of science and several local restaurants. We were there for a few days preceding the eclipse in April. There is a lot to do in Rochester and you can get there by car or Amtrak.

Eastman Kodak Museum was great.
Eastman Kodak Museum was great. Walking past all the mansions on East Avenue was even better! The waterfalls were solidly impressive and there were lots of old buildings to admire in the downtown core.

Best advice I can give about Rochester; visit Tony D’S.
Best advice I can give about Rochester; visit Tony D’S. It’s right on the river, has indoor and outdoor seating, and has upscale meals. Nice atmosphere, chic enough for a date, but relaxed enough for family.
Courtyard Rochester Downtown was the best place to stay for visiting Colleges with our daughter. The hotel looks just like new, it’s beautiful
,the room was as beautiful, spacious, confortable, and super clean. The staff was super nice and helpful. We loved that there were lots of places to eat and hang out just crossing the street, also that it had a parking lot for our rented car and an ease ride from the hotel to both Colleges that we visited. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back
The pictures do not do the place justice. It is even nicer than that! We enjoyed our ti e here immensly! The place feels like home. It literally has anything you (think you) might need and than some.
The privat parking is a huge extra bonus.
The buildi g is secure and clean. You can do laundry on the same floor.
I seriously recommend this over any hotel in the area. We are already looking forward to visit here again.
The staff at Staybridge are the best. Without fail, whoever greets us at the door is super kind & accommodating. They let us into our room almost 3 hours early. We even had a river view, beautiful and quiet. This is a great location for visiting the University of Rochester. We walked everywhere on campus & to surrounding neighborhoods.
The hotel room was very spacious, and clean each room had its own bathroom. The beds were clean and comfortable.Full size kitchen, had coffee and popcorn there uopn arrival. For the price I paid it was amazing. Nice clean pool and hot tub. Breakfast was so delicious and free, not your ordinary continental. Can't wait to visit again!
Everyone was so friendly, kind, & professional. This was an unexpected overnight stay but so glad we chose this hotel. Customer service beyond amazing, room was perfect, the hallways smelled so fresh & clean, Bar, drinks, food & staff amazing & great! Morning breakfast staff wonderful & food was great! We will definitely be back!
Beautiful building and room.
So much space and storage. Lovely area.
Buses at University/North Goodman (9) will take you to centre of Rochester in ten minutes for $1. Have change or a dollar bill.
Lovely cafe around the corner offering great breakfast. Further down the road is a courtyard of restaurants.
Really enjoyed the stay.
The place was more spacious than I realized, very much enjoyed the reading/sitting area in the front. The kitchen had quite a few utensils, pots & pans, etc. We were there so such a short time, basically only to sleep, that we weren’t able to make use of it. There were supplies to make coffee but we didn’t even do that.
The location was good. The inside of the hotel was beautiful. The staff was very grit and helpful. The food was good eating I’m the restaurants. Room service meals were cold and no syrup with pancakes. Shower hard to operate for a senior. Tv selections limited, especially baseball games.
II definitely love the spacious living room and kitchen area. The convience of having a washer/dryer room was awesome!! The noise level surroundings were really quiet considering it was off a busy street. Otherwise, I would love to make this my go-to spot when I visit again!!
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area! 100/10 ! The bar staff & front desk associates went above & beyond to make sure I felt at home on my week-long stay! The rooms were beautiful & the view of the water was perfect! Already can't wait to go back!
The hotel has very powerful lights that go inside the rooms and you can’t sleep. The noise of water, pipes, people, don’t bring a quite time to rest. They never went to change towels or bed. This hotel needs renewal asap, it wasn’t what expected
The lobby, restaurant, and common areas were very nice and updated. However our room was very obviously old. Most of the rooms are internal to the hotel and have no daylight unless you want other guests to see directly into your room.
Hotel was easy to find and located in a beautiful part of Rochester. Back patio overlooks the river which made for a very peaceful dinner and breakfast. The complementary BBQ was a nice touch and much appreciated
I was in able to stay at this hotel they took my money and said my card declined and refused to let me check into my room after they took my money off my card I will never stay at this unprofessional ass hotel
