A lot went well. A reservation for the restaurant, although they were 'booked out'
The atmosphere of the old building is superb.
Breakfast á la carte. Very unusual, but such a great experience.

Location near ferry and aquarium is great. Room is large, area quiet at night (early September, weekday).
Directly on the promenade, this historic hotel in Stralsund Harbor offers its own shipping pier, excellent spa facilities and maritime-themed rooms with a view of Stralsund Lake or Old Town.

It's one of the lesser attractive hanseatic cities but they always try to offer more. If you go there, expect little. I would recommend to visit Stralsund for slow travelling. One or two relaxing days are enough to enjoy the city and your life. This is what Stralsund is giving. Most activities, restaurants and visitors are in the old town. You can take every public transport quickly to get down town. The biggest tip is the Ozeanum which has its own bus station.

Stralsund is a nice large city with a harbour and beautiful old town. Compared to the other cities we visited in North Germany it was the one with the most entertainment and good stores. I do recommend it for a two day stay

Poor tourist information on the town and on the Internet.
Poor tourist information on the town and on the Internet. The accommodation provided no brochures and there was nothing at the railway station where most people arrive. Rugen is very close but there was nothing to help getting around it.
Lovely quiet hotel, located in the old town, very close to the Marienkirche. The hotel seems to be new, our room was spotless and the amenities looked unused.
The kitchenette has a stove, microwave, nice espresso coffee machine, cups/plates, cookware and utensils.
The bathroom has a spacious and clean shower. Note the bathroom door does not have a lock!
Breakfast is a buffet with a generous selection of foods, including vegetarian options. Coffee was alright.
They rent out bikes for 10/eur per day.
The walk to the beach was easy, about 10 minutes, and to the old town, about 15 minutes.
The soundproof walls plus the room having a courtyard view made it a very quiet room. The shower was fairly large, larger than most in our European travels. We appreciated that the room had a small refrigerator, kettle for heating water, hair dryer, and free wi-fi. If an elevator is needed, there is one. The hotel has been nicely updated on the inside while keeping the lovely historic outside appearance.
This is a great centrally located, unique hotel with easy garage parking right across the street from the back entrance. Rooms are comfortable, beautifully renovated, and each has its own individual history. The on site restaurant is great and the interior courtyard has a lovely atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially to our dog.
This is mostly a warning for others not to book this fraud hotel. They are only there to take your money. They do not care about you as a guest or to provide any kind of service. They are especially unfriendly to non-german speakers and are in short just there to take your money. I can only advise to stay away.
The hotel is easily accessible by bus from the station and is right on the waterfront. We could leave luggage there before check in time and after check out. It was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly.and helpful. It was value for money
The hotel is super nice and clean, made our stay in Stralsund really pleasant. Rooms are really nice, the only things missing is AC and during hot summer nights is might be a problem… Very very good breakfasts and helpful staff! overall 9/10
Lovely well laid out and very clean apartment. Excellent bathroom and useful kitchen area with well thought out facilities and decor.
Very close to old town and harbour on a pretty street. A more enjoyable stay than a hotel room.
- surprise gift for our kid
- super comfy bed
- great breakfast and dinner
- wonderful service by the experienced restaurant staff
- nice location of the hotel
- complimentary snacks in the room
- historic hotel building
Excellent service for my Insulin box, since the room had no fridge. Easy additional breakfast booking right at my redecision on the moring. Unfortunalely HanseDom is not longe part of the booking as years before.
The location of the hotel is amazing, right in the old town near the harbour.
The room was of a decent size with high ceilings.
The kitchen had the facilities you needed, although small was practical.
