The most friendly and welcoming staff! Thank you Esther and Evilina for going out of your way to make us welcome. We loved thr evening apperitivo and snacks ( really almost a meal!). Great breakfast. Quieter than rooms closer to the harbor, but still only a 5 minute walk to beach.

Our favorite hotel on our trip to Italy! Rooms are so cute and quaint and beds are comfortable. The views from the shared patio are unbelievable and it’s such a comfortable place to hang out and take in the view. Perfect location, on the trail to Corniglia and just down the street from the main road in town and the beach. Great value and wonderful experience, hosts were lovely!
B&B Rollando is set in Vernazza and features free WiFi. All units come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a bidet.

Nice apartment. Manuala was very helpful. I appreciated that she met us at the train station to show us to the apartment. Breakfast next door at La Pirata was great. I will miss the croissants con crema.
Vernazza was overcrowded. The trains that accessed the town were horribly overpacked and at times the city streets were impassible. I hope that the tour groups that flooded the trains and streets will be limited in number in the future otherwise the quality of life in this beautiful village will be diminished,

Vernazza was a beautiful unique place to visit--so glad we were able to experience it! The hike from Vernazza to Monterosso was somewhat difficult because of so many steps but very worth it for the views. We would have liked to have taken the ferry back to Vernazza from Monterosso but it had not started running for the season yet, so we had to settle for the train. It's nice to have options!

We loved everything about Vernazza!
We loved everything about Vernazza! It is way more beautiful than I had pictured! It almost doesn't look real! The restaurants, food, drinks and dessert were all delicious! We hiked above the town and had breathtaking views! We were there in March so we had some rain upon arrival in the morning, but the sun came out on our hike and it was beautiful! We walked every where from the train station~ it was so easy to get around! The shops are darling and we bought several items! I would HIGHLY recommend visiting Cinque Terre!!!

We loved Vernazza.
We loved Vernazza. We enjoyed the views, the little harbor was beautiful.
The Tower views over looking the ocean and village was fantastic!
Our experiences in several restaurants were excellent. Plenty of shops for Souvenirs. Vernazza was also a great home base to visit the other villages of Cinque Terre. Our favorite Village.

City is beautiful with fine restaurants, but nearly impossible during the day when tour groups and day tourists overrun the town. Hiking was even difficult due to the number of persons on the trails. Trains between Cinque Terra towns were extremely crowded and unconfortable and station boarding platforms were shoulder to shoulder with passengers. We used the ferries instead of train if not in a hurry.
The location of the house is good, in a peaceful place in a vineyard above Vernazza. The wiew over the hills of Cinque Terre was incredible. The house had everything we needed for a 3-day stay and the hosts were very helpful in advising us about the area.
We came to Vernazza by train and then used a bus to get to the house. We used the days to explore the five towns of Cinque Terra and some of the trails between them and it was great to be able to start the walk at the house and walk down the hill to Vernazza and Corniglia
Our host was a lovely man and helped us with our bags up the stairs and we also checked in early which was great. The room was nice and the location great however the drains were blocked so the bathroom smelled and therefore seemed a bit dirty. Vernazza is very beautiful but there are v few hotels just rooms for rent as far as we could find. It is very very busy, if I went back to cinque terre I would just visit rather than stay there. We were however there over a weekend and did a great boat trip one afternoon.
Wow cannot beat the location - perfectly situated RIGHT in the middle of Vernazza’s downtown. We loved being in the heart of cinque terre with easy access to all of the beautiful hiking trails. The apartment is very spacious and has great facilities (clothes washer, dishwasher etc). We cooked three dinners at the apartment. Ale is a wonderful friendly host who gave us tons of great tips for how to best experience the area. Thank you for a great stay, Ale!
Gemmy's place was a perfect spot for our Cinque Terre adventure. The room is right by the train station and has a fridge, table, and adequate bathroom/shower set-up. Those with accessibility concerns should know that the rooms are up steep and twisting stairs, but for two able-bodied young people, it was a perfect combination or price and location. Vernazza must be seen to believed, and Solemagia was a great place to do it from.
Great apartment in a gem of the Cinque Terre. The hosts are very amiable and helpul. Apartment is modernized and there was a basket for our "first breakfast" - a nice touch. Bathrooms are modern. While on themain street of Vernazzo, was not noisy in the bedrooms. Large open space for kitchen/dining/livingroom. Hosts seem to understand that guests need lots of information to navigate "the Italian way" and provided that.
Wonderful location! Francesca made you feel like family. Answered questions about the area and was extremely helpful with questions on navigating trains in Italy. Exceeded all of our expectations!!!! Highly recommend if you are going to this area. One of the bonuses is that you get a great workout going to your room. Like all areas in Cinque Terre, you must be in shape to navigate all the steps.
Amazing spot! You cannot beat this location anywhere in Cinque Terre. Right in the heart of Vernazza, extremely accessible to the train station to visit other spots. We had a rainy day and didn’t mind hanging out indoors for part of it. Bed was super comfortable & they have good closet space to hang up clothes (which helped to dry out our rainy clothes). Would absolutely stay again & recommend!
Space of the room, well equipped and everything works. Change of towels per two days.
The location of the room right next to the harbour at Vernazza, Cinque Terre.
Host of room was helpful. She waited and looked out for us. Went through her room with us and offered good tips on day trip to the 'sixth' coastal village by ferry (Porta Venere)
The hotel is really in the centre, close to the railway station and to the place where the shuttle from the parking area stops.
The room was basic but clean and the owner was very helpful in explaining how to move around Vernazza and the nearby locations.
Also close to the best places where to have breakfast and dinner in Vernazza!
We spent about 2 days in Vernazza for our honeymoon. Casa Cato is in a perfect location. Very close to the train station. Rooms are in the middle of the town. You get a little balcony with a table and chairs. Plus the hotel balcony where you get breakfast in the morning. From beginning to end, our experience was perfect!
This hotel is a gem! We took the ferry from Monterosso and the hotel is a rep minute walk from where we docked in Vernazza. There are three very private little terraces for guests that overlook the sea. The large patio/deck where they serve breakfast has an astounding view! And breakfast was ample and delicious.
Vernazza was very beautiful and the check-in was pretty easy. The windy roads to the parking lot, located a little above vernazza, were also really fun!
The airco made sure the room was cool quickly. The shuttle service and parking lot were very fast and friendly with their service just like the hotel staff.
The property was excellent and the view is amazing. Beautiful clean rooms and a supporting staff member. You need to stay here for 2 days to absorb the overall beauty of both Cinque Terre and Vernazza
Alberto and Lorenzo run an excellent small hotel. The room we were in was very clean and the aircon worked really well. The room is in the heart of Vernazza with many restaurants and shops nearby.
the amazing location of the hotel right on the main Piazza in vernazza .
there is no elevator but they helped us with our luggage up and down which was so nice of them.
Vernazza is the best base to visit Cinque Terre. We were delighted to stay in this apartment for two nights as the base. The host is amiable and helpful.
