We staid for the weekend. It was so good, with the snow. Durbuy center is very small and you can go through it in half a day or 1 day even. Although if you like walks in the nature and other activities, like horse riding or kayaking, it is nice to enjoy even more, on a long weekend or so. Very beautiful ancient town with a castle. It was lovely to walk through the winding streets looking at the old shops selling local produce. Durbuy is a wonderful town in a UNESCO global geopark region that’s well worth visiting. With a good mix of both old historic and sympathetically added modern properties it’s very much a tourist hot spot. For either the agile adventurous or just people watching from the many cafes, bars and restaurants.

Durbuy is a magical place. The people are very kind & friendly. The Italian restaurant next the bakery on the Main Street is amazing. Our host Bernard was wonderful! The apartment was lovely. It was the best part of our trip!

A little medieval village from the XIV century,...
A little medieval village from the XIV century, representative of the area, laid down in a valley on the river bank. A picturesque view of a river, rocks, and a castle. It is called the smallest city that exists as its rights were gained in 1333 and the street structure with the layout dates from then. What makes an impression is that all the houses are built from stones with thick walls and small windows. There are many good restaurants and nicely located terrasse to sit and relax at good food or coffee.

Very well equipped - there was nothing that we could have wanted that the hosts had not already thought of and provided. Location was good, on the outskirts on Durbuy, but within easy walking distance, about 20 mins. Peaceful and quiet location, with views of woods from the spacious terrace. A great bakery, butchers and mini-market were very close by, just at the end of the road.

Nice surprise in the room and excellent service at dinner.it was great. The spa was great. Breakfast was excellent with different choices. The food was exceptional. This was my third time here . I also had 2 couples stay there under my recommendation. I will definitely come back and I will definetly continue to recommend it.
