Beautiful hotel. The room was very nice and the hotel was very well kept and clean. But the best part was Ruchama, the PR Manager. We had an issue with the front desk at check-in and Ruchama took care of it (and then some) as soon as she heard about it. She made sure we were more than compensated and our stay was lovely from there on out.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive. Both the hotel and my room were spotless, which speaks volumes about their commitment to cleanliness and hospitality. I would give them a 10/10 for their attention to detail. They even went the extra mile by leaving a small gift in our room for my partner's birthday, which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options.
Before my stay, the hotel staff ensured I had all the necessary information, including tips on local attractions, dining, and activities. My experience at this hotel was truly outstanding—I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

I have stayed here a few times now and just adore it. It is charming, comfortable, and in a great location. The breakfast is always delicious. The staff have always been welcoming and I appreciate the little touches that are provided to make the stay enjoyable (welcome drink and treat, complimentary drinks in the mini fridge, happy hour, etc.)

Tel Aviv is an interesting city in the diversity of its habitat and its population. There is a good choice of museums there. The beaches are superb. It is easy to get around by bus or metro. We made the round trip to Jerusalem easily and quickly by train.

I can't answer because I live in Israel and went because I had an early appointment and didn't want to have to get up so early as to be sure to arrive on time. I wanted to be relaxed.
I did find the average person to be pleasant, friendly and helpful which was nice for a big city. The beach is fabulous and accessible. If you want to combine culture and a resort feeling, TA is a good place. You won't find Ancient Israel here but it had what every major city anywhere does. It's one of the most expensive cities in the World, so be prepared.

We came not only to help the country at such a difficult time, but also to reconnect with family and friends. Tel Aviv is a vibrant, bustling city...if you've never been you'll notice that Israelis are loud and somewhat impatient. There's more car horns honked here than anywhere else. The bus system is terrific and it's easy to get around, either by bus or train. There are some wonderful museums here, particularly the ANU Museum at Tel Aviv University in Ramat Aviv. The Carmel Market and Nahalat Binyamina are great outdoor markets. Most things are within walking distance of the hotel, and if not, then a short bus ride. The train station that takes you to Jerusalem is within walking distance as well and the train ride is less than an hour. If you're a beach person, the entire coastline is beaches with a boardwalk and a carousel. And the food in restaurants is terrific! We didn't have a bad meal while here. And the bakeries are to die for. Israelis are so grateful for the support they receive from tourists and we made many friends along the way, from shop keepers to hotel staff. A very worthwhile trip!
My son and I were traveling through and stayed one night at this hotel in Tel Aviv. A very modern style room, small but cleverly designed and comfortable. You get access to two (of many) shared bathrooms which were clean. There is a big terrace where you can enjoy a meal or drink or just chat with other guests. The hotel staff was very friendly and even got an free upgrade because I booked a wrong type of a room. We liked the location of the hotel having a nice beach just across the street and the old town just few minutes away.
The single room was extremely quiet and comfortable. If you like to walk, many locations are easily accessible from this hotel. I was walked to Old Jaffa, the beaches, the Carmel Market and many other places. There are hundreds of restaurants of all types within walking distance as well. The area is safe and the vibe of Tel Aviv is all around you. To top it off, the breakfast here is possibly the best I have ever had while traveling, although I understand that it is common to have extraordinary breakfasts in Israel.
It is my favorite place to stay in Tel Aviv
Hotel has a perfect location and an amazing view from the top to the beach and the sunset.
Many restaurants in the area. The beach is close 3-5minutes away.
Unfortunately, due to Covid, I was unable to visit for five years, but the staff welcomed me as an old friend because they recognized me. This was a very good feeling for me.
The breakfast is very delicious and gives you a good start for your day
Rooms are clean and I like the design.
I have to go back soon
Nice hotel close to the beach in northern central Tel Aviv.
The room was nice with comfortable beds and bathroom.
It's just about 3 min walking distance to the beach and you can borrow some extra towels and a bag for the beach for free.
There are cafes, restaurants and supermarkets close by. For breakfast they provide good coffee, cake and some fruit.
We easily walked from there to all places we wanted to visit in Tel Aviv. Even to Jaffa it's about 40 min walking along the beach.
This hotel is the best I have stayed at in Tel Aviv! The rooms are clean and modern with a lot of light. The suburb is amazing with so many excellent cafes and bars nearby. The beach is a little further away but it is an easy ride on a lime scooter, plus if you have a car you can park on the street outside of the hotel which you cant do at the beach hotels! The staff are also extremely nice and so helpful if you need anything, I would definitely recommend!
I’ve been to Tel Aviv many times, but I believe that it is one of the most beautiful hotel I’ve seen ever. The location is perfect, close to the beach and also close to the shuk ! Definitely perfect. The staff is quite helpful and very nice. The rooms are wonderful, extremely well decorated, with a great design and top notch equipment. The large balcony is definitely a big plus. Don’t miss out also the wonderful rooftop with a great view on Tel Aviv !
From the moment we checked-in till check-out, everything was perfect. We were greeted by the friendliest person, Oren, and offered us some bubbly. The room is a perfect size for a couple, the bed was so comfortable, and the interiors were fabulous. The location is perfect too as the beach is just across the hotel. All the staff were very accommodating and made sure to attend to our needs. Will surely stay here again when we go back to Tel Aviv!
The location is excellent if you want to be in the centre of Tel Aviv and be near to the beach.
The breakfast is high quality, the food is delicious, well prepared and there is lots to eat.
The WIFI is excellent, the beds comfortable and bedding, towels and linen fresh and clean.
In general I prefer a small boutique style hotel compared to an enormous big brand hotel and the Mendeli fits this profile.
Great location near the beach. The rooms, although small, are well appointed with great amenities with an efficient layout. The happy hour is a great way to have some wine and snacks, and I loved the swing in the lounge. The crew working the front desk are humorous and helpful…a great combination. The hotel supplies you with beach gear, and great recommendations for food and activities.
Location is amazing! Easy access for walking to the beach and amazing restaurants. Hotel is really unique and has a cool style. Staff is so nice and helpful 24/7! They have yummy pastries in reception whenever you want and bar/restaurant service is great! And the room is super clean and comfortable. Loved my stay so much!! Book for your next trip to Tel Aviv!
The room was small but very nice. Nicely decorated, including beach balls, beach bats and a yoga mat :) The hotel has a nice flair, with Happy hour every evening, snacks in the lobby and free tea/coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great location next to the Tel Aviv Port. Lovely hotel, been there twice and will come again.
The Herods Tel Aviv is a great location right on the beach as well as a hotel pool. the business lounge was a plus especially on Saturday afternoon. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating to all of our needs. Managers Karen and Daniel provided extra care over Shabbat. Yona at the front desk was very helpful.
I have been coming to Tel Aviv back and forth for the past few months and this hotel is my favorite spot to stay by far. It's near the beach, restaurants, pubs, and everything else you might need in Tel Aviv. As always the staff was amazing (Thank you Hila & Omer) The chocolate and wine were a pleasant surprise.
the gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and extremely helpful to anything we needed. great hotel for the price including a breakfast. one block off the beach…great location. we would book again if we ever go back to Tel Aviv. we would definitely recommend.
Great location in the centre of Tel Aviv and right next to the beach. The staff were all nice and helpful and the hotel was a perfect boutique-style stylish place to stay. Would definitely go back and recommend!
This was just right for the evening that I need. This is a nice boutique hotel. Cozy and convenient. I like that it was just off the beach where a lot of night life and Tel Aviv vibe is happening.
The staff was very nice! They helped us with almost everything. The hotel is located in a very lively area of Tel Aviv. So finding food or going to the beach was easy as well.
