The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the grounds were gorgeous, well maintained and inviting. We loved the location and the town of Boulbon, a very charming French village!

Ancient buildings are creating ensemble with a spirit of old times in combination with modern equipment (a/c, pool for example). Private garden gives a place to relax. Terrace has a magnificent view on the castle and roofs of authentic buildings.
Even crib was provided for our baby.
Breakfast is beautiful, we had local specialities and fresh bakery.
Design of the rooms has baroque traces , as well as chalet sometimes … I liked bath on the feet.
Travelled with 2 kids, 1 baby and 1 senior person

Good central location for visiting sites such as Pont Du Gard, Nimes, Avignon etc. Lovely village, quiet and peaceful, with lots of walking trails, and a very pretty windmill with great views of area. A few facilities, such as a small supermarket, bakery, post office, a pizza take-away, and a cafe in the square and fast food type restaurant next door. The only good restaurant apart from the exceptional one at La Bastide de Boulbon is L'Orangerie, , which offers a set menu at a very good price, and really good quality food.

Nice little village with woods, castle, churches and other places of interest in walking distance. Recommend the Abbaye de St Michel de Frigolet, and its surrounding countryside. The Abbey is a (free and functioning) historic monastery about 10 car minutes behind Boulbon. Also great views nearby of the Loire river, beside the obvious tourist towns within easy travel distance.
