Only stay here if you are trying to save money otherwise find a better hotel, biggest gripe I have stayed for 4 days never had town service, place is hard to find if you don’t know where to look, biggest problem the shower has a push button and only runs for a short time, not impressed!

Jyvastyla was a great surprise, we visited the Aalto museum, which was excellent. We walk to the University of Jyvaskyla, very impressive and beautiful. We could walk in to the lecture halls, libraries, class rooms. Many restaurants and cafes.
I would go back once more to see the city center and galleries.

The right season needs to be chosen to visit this town.
The right season needs to be chosen to visit this town. I'd recommend late spring, summer or early autumn. But not December. January and February might work only if you're coming here for skiing. There are not much entertainings, mostly just stores and restaurants in the downtown, prices in groceries might be even higher than in Helsinki. People are friendly, surprisingly a lot of teenagers. Staying here for one night is enough to see harbour, observation tower, central square and church, couple of local museums, stores and restaurants. Can recommend Verona pizzeria, great pizza, kebab and pasta, decent prices, location in the centre, and Haiku sushi, with good selection of sushi and friendly owner! You can just walk around, no need fir public transportation, it will take 5 minutes to get to the centre from the railway station.

I expect a different architecture: the buildings do not have a particular style but the university is really excellent
It was so very nice. Because when I was a child and visited my grandmother who was living on the other side of the road.
Jyväskyläs old places do not change much. But the surrounding is changing quickley. I like the old things, and I found a lot of nice things in the Boutique such as organic coffee, tea and a very nice kitchen. Even the bedrooms remains me to finnisch people who like to have an easy lifestyl.
Thank you I would like to come again - to see the nice old places, the Harja and the university campus ist also very nice.
This is a centrally located hotel with the location that simply cannot be beaten. There are so many details around it and regardless of that fact, it retains its interior calm atmosphere. The cleanliness is really on a high level and above everything, thank you for your early, abundant breakfast that allowed me to catch the bus for Petäjävesi on time. The room itself was very good and perfect for a good night rest. If returning to Jyväskylä, Hotel Verso will be my home away from home again without any doubt.
Clean, simple. If by a chance you need to stay longer, it has everything - a complete kitchen, laudary machine, TV, etc. The location is superb, it cannot be better in Jyväskylä. Just cross the street and you'll be at the harbour. A good and large supermarket is very near. If you want to be active, this is a place to be, as well. I didn't really meet the land owner, but they were available on whatsapp instantly, and helpful. So, it was a really good experience to me.
Simple and decent hotel, with all-you-need in there for a budget. Skip the human contact and the reception, skip the breakfast, and you have everything: a large and clean room, microwave oven, water-heat-can, tea and coffe, glasses, bathroom, air conditioning and so on. It was a great solution (a less luxurious one), but more than decent if you only need the basics. Fair for the money, simple and with no surprises.
The apartment is spacious, and especially the kitchen is well equipped. Convenient location close to the train and bus station, Jyväskylä’s main event venues and downtown. I was also happy to receive thorough check-in instructions well beforehand!

The place of the hotel was very good. We could have reached all parts of the town. The electronic code was easy and comfy to use. The cleaners were very nice and they provided us with daily empty bins...
Affordable price for good location, close to city center. Room was very clean. Friendly staff. Tea/coffee in lobby. Definitely this will be preferred choice when visited Jyväskylä again.
Really nice hotel, walking distance to the city centre, located next to the University of Jyvaskyla. Room was nice and clean, breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay :-)
Comfortable bed, big bathroom. Kitchen has a coffee machine and a toaster. Apartment is in a quiet neighborhood and close to Jyväskylä University, around 10 min walk away.
There were difficulties in finding the location in a new area with confusing maps. Host were very helpful and flexible. Location was excellent for the event at Paviljonki.
The location was very good and parking great, view to lake-side and bridges are awesome if you have it.
Breakfast was standard hotel quality (=very good).
