The whole area is perfect for any kind of vacation activity. The seeside is real alpin adria. The city is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holidays. Bigger cities like Klagenfurt or Villach with many other cultural or sport opportunities are easily accesible.

We really like the spectacular view of the surrounding...
We really like the spectacular view of the surrounding mountains around the lake. Lots of hiking trails available so it's good for those who want to go for a bit outdoor. If you are there, you have must visit Minimundus and Pyramidkogel (don't miss the slide from the top). We were in the middle of February, and unfortunately most of the restaurants were closed, in the evening (arrount 7-8 pm) the streets are empty, only a few bars were open. It was a shame that in Minimundos most of the buildings were covered with some protective stuff, so it was less enjoyable.

However, at night the sounds of the higway were not disturbing our sleep at all. The hotel overlooks the lake, so the view is nice. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. There is also a train station nearby. With a car, one can reach 2 supermarkets in 5min.
