Like its name PRIVACY. There is literally no one. And it's kinda far from the market around that place so it's very private. But I recommend you need a car or any means of transportation.
A good location for a hassle-free stay in Sam Roi Yot, Numpu Baandin is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake. The property features a garden, bar, and parking on-site among other facilities.

The accommodation was perfect, a really welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, the bungalows were small but also very comfortable. Everything was clean, not luxurious but everything we needed. The host was super helpful and friendly and gave us mango every morning (best mango we ever had!!)

Michael bent over backwards to help us out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we had stayed longer!

Arrive at Lungcha homestay in the afternoon. Make a boat trip at sunset (starting point directly in front of the homestay). The lake with thousands of lotus flowers and birds is phantastic. They offer a 150.- baht dinner in Thai style (a bit oily, but good and plenty). Next morning do another sunrise trip: it is very different, because the light is different, there are more birds, the lotus flowers are open, the atmosphere is just magic. Costs 500,- baht for the boat (takes up to four people). Breakfast at Lungcha included and check out. There is not much to do or see near the homestay, perhaps you can stroll to the Ranger IV station in about 20 min, there is a small stripe of beach and access to the lake.

I rented a scooter to visit the park 2 days.
The first day I visited the Phraya Nakhon Cave. It was definitely one of the highlights. Even the walk was nice, especially the first climb with nice views over the sea. I arrived before 10:00 in the cave, the perfect time to have the best sunlight.
The second day I made a tour around the park (about 120 km) and visited nearly all indicated places: the Sam, Phraya Beach (nothing special), the Khao Daeng with boat tour (nice), Khao Daeng View Point (a difficult and sometimes steep climb, but with a wonderful view), and the Lotus Pound (very nice but not the best season to see the blooming lotus. Returning I took road 1021 where you can have beautiful sunset over the wetlands.

The sandy beach is very pleasant and gives an opportunity to observe/interact with local people involved in various types of fishing.
Samroiyod National Park is a must, particularly the Phraya Nakhon Cave with the small shrine inside (trail is steep though, requires a good physical condition). Cheap seafood is available everywhere in the village, by the beach.

A glorious golden sandy bay, unspoiled by mass tourism, yet has several good quality hotels for every budget. Several restaurants, a few beach bars giving the bay an overall almost tropical island feel. This must have been how Pattaya was before mass tourism and concrete development spoiled its natural charm. Let's hope it doesn't happen here.

Great beachfront suitable for long walks.
Great beachfront suitable for long walks.
Excellent choice of local restaurants.
Easy to access the hire of bikes, motorcycles, sidecar combos and cars.
Quiet, peaceful and relaxing.
Great selection of properties to stay in.
There’s even a local 9 hole golf course that needs a bit of TLC but is nevertheless a good test.

Beautiful area, Mountains (Sam Roi Yod = 300 Peaks) close to the Ocean. Large beaches. Not too much tourism. Restaurants priced fairly. Local people much more friendly than in other more crowded parts of the country.
the place was good for a camp side with a fully furnished bedroom simple but enough for a traveler and a bathroom there was a porch in front of my room that sat there beautifully I relaxed with beer there in the evening and early morning having my coffee and can do some work too if you are a nomad it is just perfect atmosphere wow.
The owner was good and very welcoming it is a countryside setup so no pubs close by but a 10min taxi will get you there to the beach restaurant pubs ETC
.
Great hosts and great location
Owners Mook & Rick are great host's.
We brought our old dog with us and they were great looking after him while we went out.
Location is set amongst nature but rooms have a/c , good hot water, clean and comfortable.
Location is easy distance from all attractions in the area.
Highly recommend for people who want something a little different from a boring hotel room but still want comfortable rooms.
Was here during the low period where the hotel was undergoing some maintenance work, so some facilities isn't available which won't affect your stay here. Rooms were clean, showers are hot, everything works. A few minutes walk to the main stretch/beach, restaurants and provisions shops nearby as well. The host and staff were very helpful and awesome, love this place!
Very well maintained property, had a little huccup with our room... Put next to family with 2 kids... And walls in that particular room were paper thin, but we moved room. Rooms are spotless. Area is beautiful however - if you are going to relax be aware that tgis place caters for familys with youg children, and gets quite noisey, no a fault of the hotel obviously.
Small resort close to the beach. Rooms beautifully decorated - excellent bed and WiFi.
Owners are close by and super helpful and friendly.
Good location to visit National park and also see wild elephants.
This little down is very quiet but has good restaurants within a few minutes walk.
Breakfast at the resort was amazing.
Highly recommended!
We came from Bangkok for a weekend and were looking for a place to stay, and it was a big success that we decided to check out Minitel. Reason - rooms are spacious, the price is way better than in other options, and the beach is the best that you can find. We can call it almost private to the hotel.
Amazingly new and clean rooms at the end of a mostly quiet alley just a 2 minute walk from the beach. Aircon powerful even for March hot season. WiFi good once I was able to get the password (see below). Garden environment was nice. Rooms surrounded mostly by empty fields.
Breakfast was good and you could have as much coffee as you wanted. Staff were really friendly and A the hotel manager supported us well with getting a taxi to our next location and was also super friendly. GRAB will not work here!
Pool was good and a nice little sunspot.
Good situation in Sam Roi Yot. We loved the village and surroundings. The People at the resort tried to help us but not all of them spoke English well and where up to date with information and possibillities in the surroundings.
But clean, good location and good room
Nice canal like pools wind through the resort. You can jump in the pool anytime, great pizza! Breakfast buffet, good cqble service. A.c. worked great, staff was quick to fufill requests, albiet at higher prices then anywhere else ihave stayed in thailand
Nice little hut and setting, good location for national parks and did bike rental, helped organise taxi back to the train station (although very expensive and demanded more than was quoted by the accomodation).
Hotel was very modern and clean.
All the staff were really friendly.
All the facilities weee amazing.
The beds were really comfortable.
This was one of the best stays on our road trip from Bangkok.
Great staff and service. Right across from the beach and close to good restaurants. We have stayed here before and will be coming back next school holidays. My 8 year old son adores the pool here.
Super friendly staff. I forgot some items and left for Pattaya. They were so kind to send my items by mail free of charge, even after i offered to pay many times. Great hotel, lovely staff. Thanks
+ the (new) owner is super nice and helpful
+ rooms are simple but nicely decorated and very well equipped
+ location is pretty good, right by the beach and close to the national park
I had dinner at the restaurant. The food tasted good.
Very private and quiet, no neighborhood

Porter staffs were nice and helpful
