The host owner Cristina was an amazing cook and very accommodating (eg.our family preferred plain yogurt so after day one she always got that for us for our family).
Location fantastic to explore the natural springs and caves.. Parking was free and great.... Shaded for the guests

Breakfast was good, but to get it in full you need to go to the main cottage and there's a stream to cross, which was too deep for our car at the time, because of recent rains. The location is spectacular though, very quiet and in beautiful surroundings. There's a steep and narrow road leading to the cottages, no problem for us but may be for less experienced drivers.
Set in Sassalbo, 8.7 mi from Fivizzano, B&B La Bredia features free WiFi access and free private parking. Certain rooms include a seating area for your convenience.

Property is ideally located just outside the city wall a five minute walk to village center restaurants and shops. The B& B is beautifully decorated and furnished in a quiet pastoral setting with lovely views over farm fields and
the mountains. Hosts Francesca and Paolo were very friendly and welcoming. Francesca prepared delicious and ample breakfasts of fresh local foods including fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, breads, yogurt and even made us scrambled eggs. We particularly appreciated Francesca’s fluency in English and willingness to answer our questions about local history and customs and to make recommendations for activities based upon our interests. We enjoyed all of the activities she suggested over our four day stay and we hope to return for another stay.

Fivizzano is a typical Italian small village in the mountains with a nice square, old traditional buildings, cozy shop like backery, butcher, osteria, cafes, a great pizzeria and the lovely and a cozy traditional Italian food restaurant. Monday is locale market day. A very nice quit village with a beautiful location in the mountains.

The food and atmosphere provided my wife and I a great romantic atmosphere for our mountain/beach potion of our Italian honeymoon. Also, prices for food and room were very affordable! Luckily the weather was extremely cool for July because there is no air conditioning. Also, no Wi-Fi, my cell service was weak at that location as well. So a nice getaway. A fan was provided upon request.
The person providing our service knew enough English to make our say delightful. My wife and I will miss the Albergo Il Sicomoro!!
Very quiet location, just the sounds of the animals and the river. We liked the fact that it was outside the small town of Fivizzano and a fairly brisk walk up to the lovely town where there was everything you needed. A great location for walking, both around Fivizzano and also a short drive way up further into the hills. The views of the Apuan Alps are amazing with so many well marked walking and MTB trails to choose from. It is an area of Italy really worth exploring.
We enjoyed our stay at Le Case Nel Borgo. The apartment is big, comfortable and well equipped. The landscapes are incredible. The swimming pool is really appreciated as the weather was really hot. Chiara and Antonio are really kind. They even helped us to find out a solution to access to internet while the village had a power cut during a whole day (as we had to telework on that day). Except that day, the internet network works really well.
Amazingly restored pension in an old picturesque village on Lunigiana hills, with stunning views and convenient location (approx. 20 minuter drive from Fivizzano, 30 -minutes from Aulla). Very good breakfast and a lovely pool with a view. Lots of space for relaxing and very dog-friendly. Ilaria is a wonderful host, very flexible, and with a positive attitude.
Owners are super friendly and very helpful. It is the perfect place to relax. Architecture is just great and the room design is superb. If I would search for a place to relax, this would be the one. If I would open a Hotel, I would hire these two guys, to coach the personal, to design the rooms and to bring the proper energy. Thank you!
The woman who came to clean was very friendly and helpful, but she was there only once a week. The pool was a nice feature and actually the saving grace of the place. Location - up the hill from Fivizzano - was great. The farm manager invited us to help with the grape harvest, which was the best part of our stay.
The perfect BNB, walkable to all city sights in Fivizzano, a stone's throw from the best view in the village. Food and service is out of this world. The host is responsive and quick to meet should anything be needed. We will be back! Absolutely perfect.
Right beside the castle, this place is wonderfully atmospheric. It has a mezzanine floor for the bedroom area. All essential facilities are there. Friendly owner. The restaurant only opens certain days of the week so we ate in Fivizzano.
