I booked a beachfront apartment but was given a “gulf view” with literally no view. Very disappointed. Pool was overcrowded in a slow time of year. Too many kids. No towels provided. No hotel info in room. Otherwise, accommodations were ok.

The beach is big, open, beautiful, and easy to walk. There is easy access to wading and swimming in the gulf, as well as, snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding. You can walk to restaurants and bars with great views, or just rent a cabana and chairs to enjoy a wonderful beach.

Also, if you want to get out of the touristy epicenter around the hotel, and you don't mind walking 20 min or so, you can get a more varied selection of restaurants. We love being close to so many good restaurants (including Shells, one of our favorites) and how walkable the area is. Will be sure to visit again soon!
