Honored by Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi, one of the holiest mosques in Islam, Medina is the 2nd most important Islamic pilgrimage site after Mecca. Surrounded by hills that have seen hundreds of people seek refuge in its oasis, this city has developed a range of modern facilities to host the pilgrims from all over the world.
Formerly named Yathrib, Medina is affectionately known as both the "Prophet’s City" and the "Radiant City". The Prophet Muhammad came to the city in the 7th century, seeking refuge from his opponents. According to Muslim theology, the last chapters of the Quran were revealed to him here.
The site where the Prophet lived is now occupied by the Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi or "Prophet’s Mosque". Although the mosque has changed and expanded over the years, the green dome is part of the original sanctuary.
Places like the Masjid Quba mosque, the Masjid Al-Qiblatain mosque and the Al-Baqi Cemetery also represent important holy sites in Medina.
Whether you arrive directly at Medina’s Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport or come from Mecca or Riyadh, check out the accommodation deals on Booking.com before traveling.

When your heart is deeply connected to a city like Madina,...
When your heart is deeply connected to a city like Madina, everything around becomes truly amazing. Our souls and hearts remain captivated by the beauty of Madina. The nearby food options around Masjid Nabwi may be average, but taking a stroll to explore different cuisines and savor authentic flavors is truly worth it. It's important to note that driving in Madina has become a bit challenging due to ongoing maintenance work. Unfortunately, Google Maps may not always provide accurate information about the blockages and detours. Nevertheless, the enchantment of Madina continues to captivate us, making every moment spent there truly special.

So stop complaining & say Alhamdulillah for everything. You are not here to spend vacation & keep nagging for stuffs !
The staff were beyond perfect, great hospitality indeed. We waited for minutes to get our room, and in the meanwhile they offered free lunch that has a variety of food and drinks. They also offered Saudi coffee daily delivered to our rooms. The hotel was very close to the mosque, and near to many stores needed like pharmacy and grocery. The food in the hotel is great, which is needed since there are very few restaurants in the area.
The location and staff, this is not our first time to stay at Anwar Al Madina Movenpick, we always stay there when we visit Madina
we used to like how clean it was and their Haram view from the room was top of all and their amazing staff
This time despite our room had no meals in its rate, they gave us access to the executive lounge for Suhour snacks and coffee
The hotel is relatively new it is about 8 min walk to Al Haram. It is very close to Al Gomama old mosque. Also close to teh walkway to Qiba Mosque. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The receptionist who was a Saudi lady, was very helpful in helping us to find the best way to reach Qiba Mosque which was the new nicely made 3km walkway.

Clean and room size is very good
Haram view very nice
Thank Pullman Zamzam Hotel
Overall it was a nice experience ,new hotel staff are very helpful, walking distance of 10min walk but not recommend to walk during summer better to get a taxi or Uber for 15 to 20 Saudi Ryal, free underground free parking everything was perfect except breakfast was very average.
The hotel location is good due to nearby to Masjid Nabawi and small shopping activities in surrounding areas. If yu adventure enough, the buggy services route to Masjid Quba is another alternative for your shopping and feels traditional the more real Madinah's environments.
Our stay at Anwar Al Madinah Mövenpick in Madinah was exceptional! The warm hospitality, spacious rooms, and delicious dining options made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend it for a luxurious and spiritually enriching stay.
Good location. about 10 minutes walk to Harram and next to Saja Al madinah hotel which is bus stop point for SAPTCO VIP bus. Easy to get cab and taxi to airport.
McDonalds, food courts and coffee shops very close by
The place is really dirty
The only good thing is the location
I was really disappointed that those kind of hotels still exist, the Saudi government should close it because of how dirty the rooms are
It's close to Al madinah a short walking distance of 10 min gate 301. For women you may need to walk further up.lot of options to eat around the hotel.difficult parking and getting a uber
Truly exceptional hotel. Sparkling clean with everything we needed. Staff were very helpful and attended to all our needs and enquiries.
I would go back whenever I visit Al Madinah.
Splendid stay. This Hotel beats even the best 5 star rated ones available in Al Madinah Munawwarah. The Rooms are immaculate, Washroom well equipped and upscale.
