The garden of the property seems to be under renewal as well as a new structure will be build. It’s not so idyllic as the pictures suggest. However, the staff is very friendly and accommodating!!
The hotel is ideally located on the outskirts of the desert, in the heart of the palm grove of Zagora. Come and enjoy an exceptional setting in the shade of palm trees

We stayed for one night and then had a trip to the desert for another night. The room was very clean and the location just the right compromise between close to the center and quiet.
The desert trip was far off the normal tourist routes. Two jeeps took us, another couple and the equipment to the border of the national park where the large dunes start. We had a private walk through the dunes and slept on a mattress under the stars. It was an exceptional experience. In case of a sand storm, the organizers would have provided a tent for us to sleep in. Still, you should expect some wind in the night, so make sure to bring something to cover your head. The food was ok, just don’t expect something like from the best restaurants if you’re cooking on a campfire in the middle of the desert. The trip was 2000 dirham per person (without trying to bargain), which is definitely more expensive than if you go with other organizations. But for us the whole experience was well worth the money.
Located in Zagora, Prends Ton Temps offers Moroccan-style accommodations with views of the sand dunes. It has a restaurant and serves Moroccan and continental breakfast in the morning.

No decent size shops not even a proper supermarket eg Carrefour. Can be difficult if not speak French or Arabic . Lots of beggars and sad sights like a man scavenging in bins. Dry and hot and dusty. No local bus services . Pedestrian crossings are ignored. Feels like the back of beyond lots of rubbish

Zagora is the gate to the Sahara desert.
Zagora is the gate to the Sahara desert. The village itself has a lot of nice bars, restaurants and hotels, and is the starting point for guided tours in the desert, all or not on a dromedary, all or not with an overnight stay in tent camps, for 1 or more days. Next to that, Zagora has twice a week a very big local market (Wednesday and Sunday) that is a must to experience! Further down the N9 you can find the small town Tamegroute, famous for its artisanal green pottery. Also a must to stop there and see the 7 families at work outside.
Amazing stay at the Dromadaire. It has more of a guest house vibe than a hotel. Spacious apartment with an en suite bathroom, a cute little balcony looking on the main street of Zagora, and a delicious breakfast served in the restaurant downstairs.
The owner mr Mustafa and his son Redwane took real good care of us and gave us excellent tips on things to do and see. We discovered hidden gems in the Kasba and learned so much thanks to mr Mustafa who had such interesting stories to tell.
Highly recommend.
The hotel building and grounds were quite beautiful, in the middle of a palmerie. The unheated pool was very refreshing, as it was fairly hot when we were there on October 12, 2021. My room and bathroom were clean, but not many windows. The room has A/C, which is necessary, as it was pretty hot inside. They offered a free tour of the palmerie, but we didn't have time, as we arrived late, and were leaving early to get to the starting point of our Erg Chigaga tour.
Just an absolute wow hotel. We had our own private bungalow with garden and pool. The surroundings of the property are the highlight , beautiful green gardens with tall date palm trees . The staff is friendly.
We stayed 2 nights and did a small biking trip in the oasis. Visited women run and own carpet cooperative and in the afternoon had time in their hammam.
I highly recommend this hotel!
Excellent value. Exceptionally spacious room tastefully decorated. Loved the patio and private roof terrace to gaze endlessly at the stars. The gardens were lovely and staying on the fringe of the lush palmery added to our emersion into Zagora. Meals were terrific and convenient. Staff were extremely hospitable and sincere. Housekeeping excellent.
This is a tiny hotel, difficult to find - just trust google.maps. Once found it is a total surprise! A top adress in terms of comfort, taste, hospitality. The pictures tell the truth and in real it is even better. Top dinner and the people of the hotel try to introduce the berber culture in a discreet and friendly way. Fully recommended
I liked the breakfast which was one of the best that I ate in Morocco. The bread was fresh, the eggs were great and I liked the juice and jams. The bed was comfortable. The internet and air conditioner worked fine. The room had a refrigerator that I enjoyed. The staff were kind and friendly. I would return here and recommend.
The food was amazing both dinner and breakfast were the best we had during 2 weeks in Morocco , the room is spacious, and comfortable. It needs to improve the facility in the bathroom but thanks to the wonderful staff and great food, I will give a 10. Nothing else to compare after a dessert trip.
Our family had a really good time at Zagora desert camp. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Also atractions (quad-bike and camel riding) were organised very well. We were also satisfied with dinner and "night program".
There’s a reason there’s o many good reviews, the place is great! great staff, nice area to relax in…and there’s several of them, the artistic creations on the walls and rooms that adorn the hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Very hospitable and helpful hosts, wise decorated room, beautiful garden and fireplace in the evenings made our stop in Zagora unforgettable. Thank you!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our bikes were parked just outside the hotel door. We arrived in the evening, so we had a late dinner which was nice. The swimming pool area is great too!
Very hospitable with welcome snacks and drinks. The hotel has 2 rooms on the ground floor which suited us fine. The owner and his long-term resident were very friendly and helpful.
The best place to stay in zagora, good staf good price and good localisation.
And the food was wxcellent.
Thank you
Abdelkader belkerma and Dounia Boutazzout
Beautiful property, awesome food, perfect pool, super helpful staff, AND they do very reasonably priced trips out to Erg Chigaga — one stop shop in Zagora!
The riad is in a nice location. At request someone can pick you up from the bus station as it’s in a village next to Zagora. The room was nice and clean.
