Skala is a really lovely place, with fantastic restaurants, cafes and bakeries. The food is really reasonable and Skala is easy to get around. We got the bus up to Argostoli for the day and it was really good to go up and see there again. The buses are a bit limited this time of year but we got a taxi back and it was well worth it for a full day up there. Skala is a really friendly place and you are made to feel so welcome. it is such a lovely place to visit and see with stunning views and lovely people.StephenUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

It’s a great location. It has bars and restaurants but not big night life. Which I like. More family and friends & couples. Which makes the area even more special. No big groups of party etc. Any restaurant on the square is great. Staff in the restaurant and bar were very friendly, Elis made wonderful cocktails which we'd go back every night for! Also highly recommend the boat trip around Kefalonia, which goes from the Paspalis beach which is really handy! Would recommend to friends and family as the perfect base for a holiday in Skala

The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated, it’s a stones throw from the beach and Skala’s restaurants and bars, the staff are amazingly friendly and we ended up staying a night longer just because we loved it so much! The Captains Bar makes the best cocktails on the entire island too! (I tried to make my research into this as thorough as possible :p) All in all, I can only recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Skala on their holiday!

Air conditioning in all rooms, parking place, shower outside to get rid of sand when coming from beach, in one sentence "the perfect place to stay when in kefalonia". Hosts were very kind, they even served us with vegetables from their garden.
