Excellent position close to the sea and the town. Nice welcome and check in very straightforward. Large room with sea view. Very clean. We didn't use the restaurant or bar but looked nice. They do a cocktail happy hour. We wanted a last minute night away by the sea and this hotel was very reasonably priced. We were lucky to secure unrestricted on-street parking a short distance away.

Really lovely town centre. It felt safe and clean with a mixture of independent and large shops.
Has easy access to the beach and the addition of the hidden dinosaurs is really sweet especially if you have a little one obsessed with dinosaurs

Nice seafront, looks more upmarket than some seaside resorts.
Plenty of places to eat and drink although watch out for pubs closing early out of season. Beginning of May and the harbour pub closed at 10pm.
Love floating restaurant Exe Cafe, but have to book well in advance.

I used to live here so very happy to return for a more lane visit. It is an ideal place for families with good safe beaches, good travel facilities for access to other areas of Devon by bus or train, especially to Exeter’s excellent shopping. Not the most interesting of towns but good middle of the road unpretentious place to visit & enjoy.

Exmouth itself is an attractive holiday resort for all the family. Superb sandy beach with many facilities, wide range of hotels and restaurants, railway and buses. Many restaurants serve a wide variety of fish menus. One is able to walk and walk and enjoy the variety of houses, streets, special buildings, the market and the coffee/snack outlets. An extremely satisfactory area for all ages, albeit rather steep roads if one walks from the sea front upwards.

Excellent town in a beautiful part of the country.
Excellent town in a beautiful part of the country. Hotel was lovely and we had a relaxing stay. Staff friendly and helpful and even the weather was fine!
Exeter at Christmas is lovely but beware of traffic congestion!
Stylish, comfortable, modern, fully furnished and with a fully-fitted kitchen. It's an almost new flat right in the centre of Exmouth with a secure entrance. Great location less than 5 minutes walk to the railway station. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner or hosts, and inside the flat they had thought of everything. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the mod cons, comforts and sparkling cleanliness on arrival. A fantastic place to stay.
The location of the hotel is undoubtedly the best selling point.
You are two minutes from the promenade.
You are a five minute walk into town.
A lovely park next door.
The road behind the hotel is steep (yes it’s steep) but the views from up there are phenomenal.
Big spacious car park.
Breakfast, big & plenty
Rooms very comfortable, clean & tidy.
Bar was relaxing.
Dog friendly 🐶
Restaurant was delicious.
Friendly staff, very helpful.
Setting is stunning, size of suite was really great !
The free parking that's available was good and appreciated after a long drive.
Decided to stay longer in Devon but the hotel was fully booked for the second night so had to go somewhere else (not as good)
Loved the kitchen area with a hob, a large microwave and a fridge..
Loved the breakfast which was included in the price ! Amazing
Stayed in one of the rooms at the front of the Hotel with a fabulous view of the bay which undoubtedly coloured my perceptions of the hotel at large. Nonetheless, really enjoyed my night there and would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Exmouth. The location is wonderful, staff are kind and helpful and the bar / restaurant area is a lovely place to while away time.
Lovely, comfortable and modern apartment with private parking space in an excellent location for getting around Exmouth easily - just a short walk from the sea, shops and train station. The agency was helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay (especially the nice sunsets seen from the living room/terrace) and would definitely be happy to stay here again.
We had a lovely stay, our room turned out to be a two bedroom apartment with full kitchen facilities overlooking beautiful gardens and the beach. The hotel is very conveniently located for the beach and town with no problem parking. Staff were all amazing. Mid week menu was limited but adequate and good value for money.
Nice traditional seaside style hotel with a great cocktail bar and service. The lovely receptionist was very pleased with our choice of (quite ordinary) room and had infectious enthusiasm for Exmouth. She also made the cocktails and they were spot on The town was also quite nicely buzzy for an off season weekend. .
The staff were exceptional, so warm and welcoming and we were upgraded for free as it was my birthday. That was such a lovely touch. Hotel was stunning and also views would have been if it were not for the rain and we arrived when it was dark. Hope to stay longer next time to explore properly.
Lovely hotel with a grate location to local shops, restaurant and pub and bus stop
Beautiful art within the building of original building and location in the olden times
Gorgeous view of the sea from room 25
Amazing sized bath and shower
A delightful warm welcome awaited us at the Dolphin Hotel in Exmouth. We were greeted by the host and made to feel just as part of their extended family. I promptly recommended the venue to a close fired who joined us on the second day.
The accomodation was very comfortable, it was like home from home. Everything you needed was there and a pleasant surprise to have milk, tea & biscuits left for us. Exmouth is a great place.
Great place, nice and shiny caravan which was fully equipped, perfect for our base for the weekend. Holiday park not far away from Exmouth, great value for money for Devon!
Easy parking, nice big comfortable hotel at a very good price. Lovely building, must have a lot of history.
Nice comfortable bar where we sat with family in the evening.
Great place to stay, easy walking distance of town centre and surrounded by great pubs, cafe's and restaurants. Really comfy clean stay, garage is an additional bonus.
Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, the room spacious, clean and cosy with a beautiful few. The Hotel is located very central, a nice place to stay!
