The location was ideal near the man road, yet very quiet, and we were greeted on our arrival by our host who was very helpful and welcoming.
The accommodation was extensive, with fully equipped kitchen, a conservatory and an enclosed garden where we could exercise our dogs. The accommodation was on the edge of the village, which had an excellent play area facility for children of all ages. Most importantly there was also an excellent restaurant in the village, ideal after a long journey from Cherbourg.
This 19th-century chateau is located in a large park with an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. Domaine de la Tortinière is located in Veigné, a 10-minute drive from Tours.
