Basically perfect for a hotel in this budget - it's right on the seafront, within very easy walking distance of restaurants. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the pool was fantastic. The area itself is pretty touristic (as is Kos in general), and there is not much else to do apart from the pool, beach and restaurants, so we only stayed for three nights and wouldn't have really wanted to stay longer. However if that is what you want from a holiday, then this hotel would be an excellent choice.

Akti Dimis is located directly across the road from Tigaki’s sandy beach and 1640 feet from the resort center. It offers bed and breakfast rooms, a snack bar/restaurant, cocktail bar and an all-day swimming pool. Ideal for a relaxing holiday on the Greek island of Kos, the family-run Akti Dimis Hotel has an inviting swimming pool and sun terrace furnished with loungers, serving food and drinks. Each morning, a buffet breakfast is prepared. All rooms are supplied with air-conditioning, satellite TV, refrigerator and balcony or terrace with side view to the garden and the sea. Tigaki lies about 10 miles from the airport that has seen a lot of expansion in recent years. The long and sandy beach is one of the best on the island, offering a host of water sports.
