The location was fabulous beach front with coconut trees in the garden and only a few steps from the quiet beach. The beach front is also covered in coconut trees / trees with all the beach huts along the beach set back so it’s totally unspoilt. A short walk to the village which has local shops and a few bars and restaurants. This is a very quiet island so not much going on, it’s a place to relax. If you like the night life this is not for you. Kim and her team of staff were super too. Friendly and helpful in everything with asked. Will definitely return one day.. Thanks You 🏝️

I loved staying here. The woman who runs the restaurant and bungalows is hilarious and so kind. She gave me juice and aloe when I arrived, exasperated and sunburnt. The WiFi is strong, mini fridge in the room is such a bonus, and water heater and strong water pressure made for the best Thailand shower. You’re a short walk from the longest beach and also close to all the other restaurants. It’s easy to get lost in trying to find the “perfect” place to stay, but look no further, you’ll be happy and contented to stay here!!!
Set in a tropical jungle on the longest stretch of white sand on Ko Jum, JOY Bungalow Resort and Restaurant provides simple bungalow-style accommodations.

Good location, awesome beach bar and bar tender;
Nice restaurant on site, good food but small portions for relatively high prices.
Paddleboard and games for free to use which was nice.
Mopeds on site for rent.
Manager was accommodating and helped to resolve some issues we had.

The staff that work at the restaurant and bungalows made me feel at home. They accommodated my specific requests like I was family. The room was really spacious as well as the bathroom. The Thai food at the restaurant was also VERY good and I was happy to have such a simple set up of quiet mornings in the garden with their food.

Koh Jum is perfect for relaxation as it is a quiet island with not many cars just scooters to get you around. Would highly recommend staying at Nadia Resort as Chow was the perfect host going out of his way to assist us always with a smile.

Koh Jum is an island away from the hustle, which is great.
Koh Jum is an island away from the hustle, which is great. If the accommodation is advertised as what it is then great, even if at low standard. We stayed at the North-Western end that isn't even connected to the central road, the last km leads over a very washed-out dirt-road. Along the beach are a few tiny "resorts", take your pick for drinks and or food. They're all good!
A little more developed is the South-East and South of the island. Go there if that's your vibe, else go North. Don't forget to receive a Thai massage!

Koh Jum is a gem and unknown to many.
Koh Jum is a gem and unknown to many. It has not been overdeveloped and maintains a local feel. I fear it will change with the demolition of a number of bungalows at the southern end and talk of a big 5 star resort replacing them. Most people, locals and travellers do not seem happy about this. As many beaches are rocky and unswimmable at low tide, it pays to check carefully for what you want before booking.

The most genuine, friendly, authentic island.
The most genuine, friendly, authentic island. My friend and I loved it best of all it is not over touristy. We love Ko Jum and recommend it for anyone wanting to relax, rejeuvenate and enjoy a very authentic experience of island life.
Lovely little resort tucked away at the top part of Koh Jum. We felt welcomed by Kwan and her team from the moment we arrived. The resort was tranquil and our villa had amazing ocean views and sunsets and a private beach. We ate each night at the resort and the food there is some of the best we’ve eaten in Thailand. Lovely fish and traditional Thai foods. Thanks again for such a memorable and stay - we hope to be back one day soon. Your staff are such a credit to your resort. They really made a good stay into an amazing one.
The location by the beach on a lovely, and not yet overly developed island, was perfect. I really enjoyed having a swim and walk on the beach, then getting breakfast or a meal in the restaurant. The resort had plenty of families, and the children seemed happy to play on the beach and in the water. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and there was no problem in charging my electric scooter for the return trip to Krabi Town.
My favorite stay here in Thailand. Exceptional hosts that showed me around the islands, organized transportation to my next hotel on the mainland and even made a great day trip with me. the bungalows are great. Everything was clean, with air conditioning. You can rent a motorbike directly in the resort. The island is lovely as well, lots of great beaches and the food is amazing.
Lovely hotel on the beach. The staff are marvellous. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
Some little eateries very near by and a laundry across the road which was useful. A short walk (right turn) up the beach will bring you to the rock bar which is very unusual.
the owner is very nice and has all the amenities available for the guests. there are resort dogs here, who make a very friendly atmosphere. it’s right on the beach and scooter rental is available so you can get away from the resort. it’s clean and the mosquito net was a blessing. one with nature at this resort
Extremely classy. Run by a Thai/French family and seemingly presenting the best of both cultures. This is the Thailand I fell in love with decades ago. If you need cannabis dispensaries, banana boats, air conditioning and Wi-Fi, stay away. Leave this secret paradise to us.
The property was absolutely beautiful! We had a private porch and the most comfortable bed. Everything you could ever need was within your own hut! The other bungalows were also lovely and everything was tucked away at the end of this lovely road!
Views are amazing, the location is great as well, right on the beach and perfect for relaxation.
The manager was very nice and helpful. He also arranged the transfer for us back to our hotel in Krabi town.
We can totally recommend this hotel.
We spent 4 weeks travelling in Thailand and Friendly was the best place we stayed at! The bungalows are neat and very comfortable, everything is very well organized, the hosts are very nice, it was a pleasure to stay there.
spacious bungalows in tidy gardens, fridge and great Wi-Fi. staff very friendly, Malik and family were happy to help with anything, including booking speedboat and scooter. within walking distance of beaches and restaurants
Super friendly owners and staff, who will help with any request you might have (they arranged a scooter for us right after our arrival). Basic but comfortable and clean bungalows, surrounded by nature.
