The hotel was in the main part of the town and close to every thing we needed. The reception, cleaning and breakfast staff were helpful and friendly.

The hosts are very genial and they put on a good show...we liked them. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was somewhat a disaster, however, because water escaped from the shower area very easily and ended up pooling on the floor.
The hotel is located in the region of Vaucluse between Lubéron and Ventoux, just 10 minutes from the city center of Apt, the world capital of candied fruits.

We booked the studio apartment. We were very disappointed.
There are several problems that we have listed below (and the main problem is the sewage smell)
The studio is nicely decorated (looks like in the pictures).
The entrance and stairs are also full of works of art, which creates a special and interesting atmosphere.
The hostess is nice and recommended us an excellent restaurant across the street which we really enjoyed.
The kitchen is well equipped. (but there was no tea/coffee/sugar).
The location is good (near the square with the fountain and the church).
Street parking is free. (Luckily we found parking right next door).
There are brochures and a map for tourism in the area in the room.
This Suite Home is located in Apt, the heart of the Luberon Mountains. Aix-en-Provence is 25 mi from the property. The property offers free WiFi access and free use of the fitness room.

Lovely apartment, renovated with style. Very comfortable, well situated near restaurants, and a great view. Hosts were delightful, very welcoming and helpful.
Perfect place to explore Provence, it's right in the middle.
Perfect place to explore Provence, it's right in the middle. In the town you will find the basics: supermarket, some restaurants, others. The old towncenter is nice, and late afternoon (not on marketday) we found good parking facilities.
Tip: google maps doesn't know that some streets in the old town are closed and it navigates inside impossible places. It's better to park next to the river and walk 3 minutes to the center.

The town of Apt serves as a great base for exploring Provence. We planned a long stay to really cover the area and the smaller towns we wanted to visit was an easy drive from here. There is free public parking in the main town center although overall I would consider Apt a quieter town with little to do at night. We usually ate at another village or had dinner in the flat. There were many shops around. Summer 2022 was exceptionally hot so returning midday to the flat to cool off then venture out again in the early evening worked well. Not recommended though without a car but with a car, the many smaller roads linking the villages made for some spectacular lavender photos (the best fields were random drive by lucky moments!)

Even if the area seems less wealthy than other areas in the Vaucluse or Luberon, it breaths authenticity, a real city that is lively the whole year round; real efforts are made to 'upgrade' the city and attract more holiday makers and travelers; 5 minutes driving or cycling in any direction and and most astonishing scenery is revealed to you.
Ideal as a hub for discovering the Luberon, by car or bicycle.

Apt felt like an authentic small French town.
Apt felt like an authentic small French town. It did not feel overly touristic. We had great meals everywhere we ate. I even had to see a doctor at the last minute. I was able to get a recommendation, see a doctor, get a prescription, and have it filled all in less than 1 hour. The total cost was
$35 dollars. Amazing!

Apt has a lovely old town with interesting shops and restaurants. We have always driven through Apt and had always dismissed it. This time we stayed in town and were very pleasantly surprised. Good base for touring.
Holidaying from Cape Town for 7 days, we chose to base ourselves in Apt and explore the region. La Providence, was an excellent choice ... close to the village and accessible to all the beautiful spots in the Vaucluse area. We stayed in a spacious unit called Anticatta which has been newly renovated. The views are spectacular and the bed ... fabulously comfortable. I would highly recommend La Providence to anyone travelling to this part of Provence. P. S. We were met by Josiane who was friendly and helpful ... thank you!
The host met us there with the keys, a map, and give a little mini tour for points of interest, it was super helpful for giving us something to do for the last 3 days of our honeymoon, host was incredibly kind and worked with us to communicate in English as our French is very poor, extremely accommodating.
The shower was awesome as was the entire facility really, super accessible to everywhere in the town of apt. parking wasn't too bad either as there's a giant free parking lot across the street we could use.
This was a great bolthole to stay in for a solo walking holiday in Provence. The apartment is well set up, very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, great location in the centre of Apt, and overlooks a small courtyard. It is quirky though - you have to be ok with going up a small corkscrew ladder to get from the main room to the bedroom and bathroom.
When we arrived, the air conditioning was not working in our room and there were a few other minor issues. The hotel manager worked with us the next morning to find a solution (changed rooms in this case as they couldn't get a technician in). The staff was so lovely and really worked hard to ensure we enjoyed our stay.
very new place, very well decorated
pretty specious for a couple
host was very nice and helpful, but doesn’t speak English at all. we talked on WhatsApp with translations
smart tv
good facilities (every thing feels new) and hi tech shower
in the center of the old city, free parking is really close
We were cycling and this hotel was very welcoming to cyclists with a big secure garage for bike storage and a great breakfast. It is located right off the cycling path so the location was perfect. There is a lovely garden where you can eat and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Eclectic artist loft. Eric the owner and artist is a very nice talented individual. You are in the center of town.
Important if you have reduce mobility there are tiny stairs to access the upstairs sleeping quarters.
I have high rating taking into account the rate.
Comfortable and relaxed place, friendly and helpful owners. Close to Apt, which has a fun Saturday Market and central for visiting the many places and villages locally. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area.
Nice sized room and bathroom, good views from the terrace. Very friendly staff in hotel and restaurant. Secure parking. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Good beds, very clean.
The location was excellent. Three parking spaces for the hotel in front and we were able to secure one. The Saturday market was right outside the hotel!
