We have been coming to acqui terme for many years. Beautiful Roman town with quant streets and must be some of the best restaurants in the town and surrounding areas. Plenty of life, market twice a week. Few designer shops

The town is lovely with an old centre complete with cobbles. There are hot springs in a very picturesque piazza. It is very easy to walk around and there was an English speaking lady in the Tourist Information office (which had plenty of English leaflets and a town map). There are lots of bars in the town, many of which are located under arched walkways. Everyone we met was helpful and wanted to chat, even though our Italian was basic to say the least!
