What I liked most were the hospitality and generosity of the father/daughter hosts. They were supremo! Outstanding! Wunderbar! We also enjoyed the Norman castle which was very close. The views from the hotel (including Etna) were just fantastic (we booked sea-view). The location was great for ius as it was a short walk to lots of interesting places for us, and the staff were really friendly ( a bit more english would have been helpful but wasn't necessary)

Milazzo is a beautiful coastal city rich in history, culture and architecture. I was there for just two days as the purpose of us staying there was our sail to the Isole Eolie, but I did notice the city offers excellent shopping and all types of dining and nightlife. And the day and nighttime views of the Aeolian sea and mainland Sicily were gorgeous. As Italian/American tourists, I was delighted how friendly the locals were to us on the street and in the stores/restaurants. Be prepared to pay for parking wherever you go though day and night. I would certainly visit this city again.Vince

The property is very close to the port, excellent location if you consider to take Aeolian Islands tour. The host, Alessia, is very kind. She provided detailed instructions of the property location and how to check in to the room. I arrived to the property close to midnight - no curfew, no late arrival fee. And the breakfast was good. Parking available for a fee, I used Easypark app and parked my rented car on the street, 50m away from the property.

A lot of shops are located close by, along with some very good restaurants & coffee shops. B&B Al Duomo is a small family-run hotel. Eliana & Giuseppe really make you feel at home, making sure to assist you any time with anything you may need.

I am so sorry I can't remember the name of the angel who was managing the hotel, running the front desk and seemingly doing everything at this hotel. My mother wasn't feeling well, you would have thought we were staying at a spa, that's how well she took care of her.
