It's very close to the highway which makes it ideal for travel, but it wasn't loud outside at all. There was also a lot of fast food and other food places very close by. The bed was very comfy and we loved the modern look of the room. It had everything we could need for a short stay. The one queen bed room was perfectly sized for two people. I also liked that the heating in the room was very easy to use.

Lots of food options close by.
Lots of food options close by. It's Easter weekend, so a lot of places are closed, but Wang Palace is right up the street. Close to the highway and easy to get around. There are 2 different CVS within a mile of the hotel so we always had what we needed. Stop n' shop right around the corner. Food+meds+laundry, all bases covered. Nobody messed with our car or anything like that. There were a lot of police on patrol, but nobody tried to violate my Constitutional rights. I found a creek out behind the hotel while I was smoking a joint, it was peaceful and prohibition of pot is lifted in CT, so smoke it if you got it!! :)Mr E4United States of America - 10Scored 10

I have family in the area and this is our go to hotel :) There are great restaurants in the area as well as shopping and activities. Old Wethersfield is quaint and a great place to spend an afternoon.

The towels are soft and plentiful and the building was quiet although it was full. The only thing that could have been better was the TV is very small for the distance from the bed but I would return to this hotel for all future stays. It was friendly and clean and well run. There was a full size ironing board in the room and blow dryer and mini frig. Wifi was great and you can tell there were no corners cut with renovations when done. We received excellent customer service from the front desk staff. Checking in and out was a breeze. The hotel itself is updated and clean. We were very happy with our room. It was spacious and the bed was extremely comfy! They also serve continental breakfast daily from 6-9:30am. The front desk person couldn’t cancel the reservation and refund me. A manager is not available until Monday… The carpets didn’t look like they had been vacuumed in days—lots of paper and crumbs etc. The hotel isn’t well managed at all. I had to find a new hotel/room and it was 12:45 in the morning.
