First, the staff at the hotel were wonderful. They recommended several restaurants (which we really enjoyed, along with the Lambrusco wine) and helped us with our Italian, which we try to speak. The room was refreshed and cleaned each day. The location was within walking distance of all of the sites. The Ferrari museum was around the corner and as near as the rail station. Both about a 5 minute walk. The Piazza Roma is about a 15 minute walk, and the Piazza Grande about a 20 minute walk, with much to see in the historical city center.

Cozy feel in the Center—cobblestones, porticos, Mercato Albinelli, Enzo Ferrari Museum, incredible food, particularly Uva d’Oro restaurant (went to dinner there twice as it was so enjoyable) and Sant’Agostino three times for late afternoon aperitivi.

This was a really lovely city with an extensive pedestrian town centre. The Duomo is a highlight, the covered market is charming (it re-opens in the evening with a variety of what seem like pop-up restaurants) and the very grand town hall was worth a visit. You are spoilt for choice for restaurants - we liked Stallo Pomodoro and Da Danilo for dinner- both had outside terraces, and for lunch, Aldina, a very traditional no frills trattoria on the first floor near the market. Blums, a prize-winning gelateria, served the best ice cream I had on this trip.

Really a treat, Modena deserves to be better known.
Really a treat, Modena deserves to be better known. A beautiful and walkable city, with magnificent food, good and variegated shops, and did I mention the magnificent food? The Galleria Estense is an excellent museum (with all information in Italian and English). Opening hours for churches are a bit intransparent (and not always kept), but the city is definitely worth a trip!

A beautiful town not overrun by tourists or tourism, with good restaurants, lovely sites, and extremely well kept buildings. It is easily walkable (no tourist cars in the center). If there was something to avoid, I could not find it.
The room was outdated, but the beds were comfortable. The shower cabin really needs to be replaced, but the water-pressure and temperature was awesome. The room was really, really huge (we could play soccer in it). The airco was old, but worked very well. The hotel is very fancy, the room looks like it does not belong in this hotel. You can park the car for free on the private parking lot of the hotel. The area does not look safe to walk around, but for the car parking it was ok. There is a grocery store around the corner.
Good hotel car park, easy to find and far enough out of Modena not to be overloaded with traffic. Hotel in a side street so very quiet. Easy to drive off around the area from the hotel and for Modena city centre there is a bus stop less than 2 mins from the hotel, which cost 2 euros and you can use contactless. Many restaurants nearby but the food can be quite similar with little variation. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Very convenient for a family traveling with a dog. A lot of outdoor space and room was on ground floor opening on the garden.
Nice owners.
The location is outside of Modena center, about 15 minutes drive, which was fine for us as we were looking for a place with outdoor space. Just to flag that you need a car to stay there and travel around easily, there is plenty of outdoor parking available in the property.
The host was waiting for us when we arrived. He kindly explained to us what we needed to know to make our stay as comfortable as possible, including tips about where to park the car, where to eat, what to visit... The apartment simply had everything we needed and more, very well maintained, clean, spacious, and located in the center of Modena. Possibly the best apartment I've ever been to in Italy.
The apartment is amazing and very clean, the beds were big and the decor is lovely. Elena and Graziano are both amazing and extremely nice. They were very accommodating to what we needed and were excellent. There is a small parking area as well that is gated which made renting a car that much better. A wonderful experience for a quick visit to Modena!
I really lake the hotel. It is located near the center of Modena. The room was spacious, clean, equipped with everything you need. My flight was very late, but they were waiting for me at the reception and checked in very quickly. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Few 3-star hotels offer such a rich and delicious breakfast. I would stay at the
Amazing boutique hotel. really friendly staff who have excellent recommendations on how to spend your day and where to eat. I even asked them to get arrange a cake for my wife's birthday and Valeria was super nice about it and arranged the whole thing. would keep coming back to stay here. location was also awesome
Historic palazzo hotel in a quiet street in the centre of Modena. Very stylish an well maintained. Nice and cleen rooms and frendly staff. Extended breakfast with everything tasty Emilia region offers, including sparkling prosecco. It was our 4th stay in this hotel and I surely will come back to this place.
The hotel is closed to the historical city center which is ideal when you have limited time to visit Modena. It has a parking and a garage, which is perfect to leave the car in security. The room was clean, with comfy bed. The check-in was fast and the check-out even faster.
Breakfast is excellent, lots of variety of food. The location is good, 10 minutes walk to the center. Also, a 10-minute walk to the bus station where the bus to the airport and the bus to the central train station stops. The staff is friendly. The hotel is clean.
It surprised us, went to Modena as part of a big driving holiday in Italy and visited Modena for the Museo di Ferrari and didn’t expect too much however the hotel was in a great location to Grande Piazza restaurants were very good and the hotel was fabulous
It was a very classic hotel. Rooms were quite spacious and the bathroom was also very nice, but a bit out dated. What we really liked was the staff. They were very friendly, helpful and they gave us a great variety of recommendation for our trip in Modena.
If you have a car this hotel is a very good choice. There is free parking available and the hotel is not far from Modena and from the highway. The hotel is clean, the size of the room is good, and the bed is comfortable.
Great location in the heart of Modena- everything was within 10 minutes’ walk. They also included free parking and allowed us to drop our bags, even though the hotel is within the ZTL. Good quality air conditioning.
Very basic hotel.
We booked it because we wanted to be close to a certain restaurant.
Free parking is a plus.
Toilets are really very tight.
Family run and Marco is very helpful.
OK for a one night stay.
Good hotel located in the nice historic center of Modena. with many bars and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. Comfortable rooms with good beds and low noise airco. We had an enjoyable stay.
Perfect location and very polite, helpful and friendly staff. We arrived by car and while the hotel’s private parking was full, we were immediately provided an authorization to park at the street nearby.
Beautiful chic hotel just outside the busy center of Modena. Great and beautiful room with a shared terrace. The check in process and staff was exceptional and lovely.
