Villa Kakatua offers a blissful retreat away from the madding crowds, just metres from Canggu Beach on Bali's south-west coast. Hidden behind private walls in lush tropical gardens, this four- bedroom villa neighbours Villa Kedidi (three bedrooms), to provide an individual or combined option for families and groups. Child friendly with warm and attentive staff, guests can easily relax and unwind in this beautiful Balinese home away from home. It is the perfect place to laze by the pool, take a stroll through the rice fields or catch a wave at one of Canggu's popular surf breaks. Please note: Villa Kakatua is a 4-bedroom villa that can accommodate up to 8 guests. Guests booking the 6-person rate will have access to 3 bedrooms (1 bedroom will be locked).

Neighborhood info

Villa Kakatua and its sister, Villa Kedidi (situated between Kakatua and the quiet road that leads to them both) have only one other nearby neighbour: the Tugu Hotel, a stunning boutique hotel-museum stacked with antiques and a ‘must visit’ during your stay. To the immediate north and east of the villa views are of empty fields with the occasional cow wandering past. It’s very peaceful – a little slice of Balinese suburbia. The quiet Batu Bolong Beach 200m from the villa is a great spot for surfing and sunset walks. Swimming is not advised as there are strong under-currents and no lifeguards in this area. An ancient temple built from coral looks out to the ocean 200m from the villa where there are often ceremonies that spill out onto the beach.
