If I could give it 7 stars, I would. Dyan and Rob (who run the lodge) are amazing. Their hospitality is unmatched. Included is afternoon tea and breakfast for each day of your stay, which is homemade daily by Dyan. They really bend over backwards to make sure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Will 100% be returning to Waiheke Island and specifically the Tawa or Punga Lodge again in the future.

The property said it was in Oneroa, but was actually a few kms out of town. Bus was convenient though.
Fenice and the Waiheke Grocer we’re both fabulous. Got a bargain at the Recycle Boutique. Cyclone prevented beach time, but had a lovely massage come to us (Inner Spring). Even in bad weather Waiheke was fun and beautiful

Great place to visit, lots to do & see.
Great place to visit, lots to do & see. Earlier in the week a number of places closed due to Covid as they can't get the staff. Closer to the weekend more places open. Enjoyed lots of Cellar Door tastings & took lots of wine home to stock our cellar.

Variety of shops - food & clothes & souvenirs, Not just for tourists but locals too.
easy to get about on foot. very near beach & sea.
Plenty nice restaurants - good variety of food choices.
nearby wineries i did not get to.
Our stay at Cable Bay Views was great. The studio was spacious and clean, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. The stunning view added an extra touch of beauty to our experience. While the location had a few challenges, such as being a 25-minute walk from Oneroa village and the absence of a nearby bus stop, these were minor inconveniences that didn't significantly impact our overall enjoyment, especially being also close to well-known wineries like Mudbrick and Cable Bay (3-5min walk).
An awesome property and perfect for our weekend stay with family & friends to celebrate a special birthday. The accommodation is within walking distance of both Mudbrick & Cable Bay so a great location. The Lodge is fabulous - very comfortable and 'home from home' with regards to everything you need. The beds were really comfy and entertainment area superb - we made great use of it with our friends who were staying in the other three 1-bed units next door.
We had a lovely time at the lodge - we stayed over the Christmas holiday and were treated like family by Andy and Pip. The ability to borrow a car or e-bikes as well as have a great backyard to hang out in made it an easy place to relax and enjoy our downtime between beaches and wineries. The breakfast and honor bar were a really nice touch.
The setting was lovely.
Having a private balcony was a bonus.
The location was great- close to the beach and Oneroa Village, yet secluded.
Dianne was an excellent host.
Breakfast was amazing and the afternoon teas were superb- fresh home baking.
A very relaxing place to stay.
Great location, only a few minutes walk to oneroa and beach. Accommodation was clean and had everything we needed for a few nights stay. Property is lovely, private, set amongst the trees with a beautiful view. Shower pressure was great. Highly recommend and would stay again.
A beautiful, comfortable apartment in a fantastic location. a lovely balcony, close to the beach and a short walk from the local village with plenty of amenities. The owners and Lupin their dog were very friendly and welcoming. I am so glad we chose to stay at Jake’s place.
Beautifully built and furnished apartment. Being able to fully open the glass doors on to the deck was fabulous. Very relaxing.
Quiet, bush setting felt secluded but really only a few minutes to the Oneroa Village. Just perfect for 2 adults. Loved it
great location very near the village shops of Oneroa. easy walking around. Lovely deck for coffee. everything you needed in the house ie crockery etc, . extras in the laundry to make it more home from home.
Location close to the park, village, and beach. Mudbrick Vineyard was just around the corner.
Outdoor areas at the accommodation were lovely, very relaxing place to stay.
What a great wee place. Incredibly handy to Oneroa village shops and cafes. Comfy beds and living room area. Beautiful outside area. Would definitely book again.
