Traveling from Florida to NY…I thought I booked the Santee location only to find out when I showed up that the reservation was at the Orangeburg location (40 minutes away). I tried calling booking.com and was told 3x there was an error with their system. I also tried to cancel the reservation (6pm), but was told it was too late. The hotel would approve the cancellation since I was just moving the reservation to the Santee location (only if I could have gotten in touch with booking.com, which I was unable to do). I am being charged for the Orangeburg location even though I didn’t stay there.

Room was new and very big, lobby is nice, jacuzzi is very hot and clean.
We chose Orangeburg as a stop towards Asheville, right by the main road, so location is decent.

This motel was great! Desk workers friendly and helpful, room clean and beds comfortable. Full house and we were on ground floor, but never heard people above us. Breakfast was wonderful...plenty of choices including waffles, eggs, fruit, etc. Breakfast room good-sized. Highly recommend and will stay again going to/from Ohio/Florida!

Hard beds, Hardly seen any staff.
Hard beds, Hardly seen any staff. Rooms cleaned when asked not good practice during COVID. TV didn’t work. Once found staff second remote worked slow needed batteries they didn’t have. If battery in remote is old tells me remote not cleaned either. But place looks nice. Didn’t see breakfast at all but smelled it. Very small breakfast provided.

Carpeting furniture and bedspread stained, would not stay again as it is one of the higher priced hotels in the area but not up to our expectations as we have stayed here before and it has gone downhill.

Orangeburg was a pleasant discovery years ago on our journey from Pennsylvania to Florida. The people in the hotels and restaurants we have visited have always been lovely.
It's convenient to the interstate for travelers. The accommodations are fairly priced and it's easy to get around the area.
When we first discovered Orangeburg I asked where do the locals eat. I was directed to Antley's. The restaurant is a national treasure. Great bar-b-que and Southern cooking!

Eating places, and shopping was close to the area by car and some of them were within walking distance from the hotels. We ate at Sonic, IHOP, Burger King, and Hardees. Cracker Barrel was too long to wait for service. Fairly easy to travel around the city. I would avoid staying at the Quality Inn in Orangeburg.

A growing city with much room to improve in racial relationships though much has been done so far.
I grew up in the area and left in 1964 so have seen much positive changes. It is trying hard and have come a long way, yet much remains to be done.
This was the most unpleasant stay I ha ve ever experienced.
The filth was beyond belief. Everything was extremely dirty and outside of the television, the amenities were awful.
I paid $112 cdn funds for a room that was worth $29.00.
Unless I hear back from management on this experience, both my wife and I will surely telleveryone we are I contact with about our Super 8 experience .
My wife is a judge in Canada and I am executive with Ford. Our contacts are broad.
Please ensure someone contacts me.
Thank you

Nothing fancy about this hotel however it is just off the highway, clean, comfortable, and set at a fair price. Our king room was large enough, and it included a small round table with two chairs. We appreciated that we could park our car in front of our room. There are a number of fast food restaurants around the hotel. We walked across the street to Sonic and sat outside having a couple of burgers and onion rings. (First time to try Sonic; surprisingly tasty!)
The hidden $40 pet charge for our 2 small doggies surprised us at check in. No information about the charges at this “pet friendly” hotel at the time of booking. Another Super 8 Windham in Weston, WV on the same north-south root has nicer facilities, much better breakfast and no charges for pets.
Won’t stay at this Orangeburg hotel next time.
Very helpful and professional staff
The Inn was very clean and comfortable. We traveled with our dog and appreciated the suite’s extra room- many hotels seem to have tired rooms for those of us bringing pets in addition to charging extra money for the pet.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We stayed in 3 different hotels during our trip and this one was by far our favorite and the best. Will stay again when in the area.
Everything the room was great the pool was awesome the property was clean it’s quite I love it my most recommended place to stay when you in Orangeburg but that one staff member that work in the morning I DO NOT LIKE HER SHE’S RUDE
Easy access from hwy. Very clean room. Hotel has done some updates since my last stay. Love the new smaller pillows, you can actually sleep on them. Scrambled eggs and sausage, yum. Freshly baked cookies and mints.
It was affordable, and the location was okay. It's not the beat hotel, but it served its purpose. There was a small variety of breakfast items. Again, the hotel was passable.
As we enterered the room, we saw a Raid bomber sitting in between the 2 queen beds. So they knew that had roaches and we saw and killed several on the walls plus the bathtub
I booked the room while we were driving, our reservation was not in system yet. The ladies at the desk were super friendly and worked until they could check us in.
There is nothing about this hotel that is great. There breakfast is not good and very limited. All I can say is you get what you pay for and that is it.
