The room was nice, the staff were super friendly and helpful, my wife was sick and they helped us. We wanted to book one more night in the same room because she couldn't get out of bed and they promoted the people who booked our room the next night so we could stay there.

We loved our superior bungalow with AC, a porch with a hammock and chairs to sit out and enjoy the lovely pond with water lilies. The location was perfect, out of town but still close enough to walk into town in just 15 minutes. There is a nice dirt road past fields with cows and a bamboo bridge to take into town so you don’t have to fight the traffic on the main road. The hotel employees, especially Kay, were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We love Pai, it has a lot of back packers there who seem to love Tubing, we just enjoy the quite time spent there. We always stay at The Quarter which has a great pool, decent breakfast and is very close to walking street. Night time it gets busy with lots of people around walking the street and eating from the many food stalls in the walking street. There is also an abundance of wonderful authentic Northern Thai restaurants that are cheap. Not a fan of the constant smell of 'weed' everywhere you go, but it is a small price to pay for a nice stay. I would not stay more than 2-3 nights. The trip up there is around 3-3.5 hours and we have given away with the buses as I think they are too dangerous with the winding roads and people who overtake on corners. We hired a driver from Chiang Mai and the round trip in a very comfortable electric car was 3,300BHT, well worth it.

For younger backpacker how wants to make party it is right area. When you want to make Expedition this area is not so nice. You can make pai canyon, visit big cave and big buddha bit i think thats it. No grab so most time you need Scooter and most people in europe have no motorbike licence and without that you should not Drive because when you have a accident no insirance and then you have a big Problem. I think i don't come again...
Every evening night market with very very much young people much also alcoholism and smoke drugs..
I don't enjoy Pai

Lovely little village with plenty of dining options.
Lovely little village with plenty of dining options. It’s a little hippyish but really lovely vibe. A few late night bars if you want to party but a lot of restaurants close around 11. Lots of street food available partly to fuel the munchies with lots of canabis shops. Found a great Italian wine bar ( witching well) as well as great Thai restaurants. The walking street can be covered in about 20 minutes and feels very safe and comfortable. Plenty of small hotels to walk into and book a room as well. The journey from chaing mai takes about 3 hours and the last two hours are on steep winding roads so don’t skimp on your transport and go with a private driver for comfort or ask your hotel to arrange. It should be around 3,000 bht each way (€75)

Pai is a small town with lots of restaurants.
Pai is a small town with lots of restaurants. We stayed a day here as part of our 4 days MHS loop and so not able to fully enjoy Pai.
We missed out on Sai Ngam and so visited Tha Pai Hot spring on our way back to Chiangmai. Many level of hotness in a natural environment, stones in the pool make walking a bit difficult. We settled on pool at 33 degree - just 5 of us in the pool so is not crowded. Spent about an hour here. Initially the water felt too hot, but we got used to it after a while. Clean toilet & shower with hot water, facility is adequate. We got bitten quite a bit - itchy after a couple of hours even after we reached home.
The white Buddha up the hill is beautiful, many steps to the top - you are rewarded with beautiful sunset & 360 view of the surrounding. Kind of hot up there while waiting for sunset.

I stayed in Pai at Peace of Love for five months; I'm a retired perpetual tourist. Pai really helped me recover from the setbacks of COVID. It is a touristy town, but with palpable chill and super sweet people. Food and beverages were Uber good and cheapest in Thailand, I think. I certainly look forward to another visit if life permits. Loved the two sweet ladies at Joy's restaurant who showered me with good food and gracious service. I also love Papa at Papa's Peddles who rented me a good bike for a dollar per day. Peace of Love and Pai worked wonderfully for me.

A small town in a mountainous area surrounded by an amazing landscape and you can walk in the area for several days and enjoy all the surrounding green nature, recommended for couples and less for families with children mainly because of the long drive from Chiang Mai on a very winding road that is difficult for children to accommodate.
Great location, surrounded by calm farmland but 5 minutes stroll from the main walking street. Huts are not too close to each other and private balcony with hammock, was hard to ever leave! Toilets and showers are clean. People who run the place are so lovely so are the types of people that stay here, positive chill vibes. Breakfast was amazing, banana pancakes are a must-try and the local coffee was perfect. Favourite place I stayed in the whole of Thailand and I’d always come back here.
This was the best place we stayed in the whole of Thailand. The family-run owners, Run, Orn and his brother were absolutely amazing. From the moment we got there til we left, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. They even took us into town to rent a motorbike, then took us and our bags to our next hotel. They make an effort to know the names of all guests, and gave us a lovely handmade gift when we left. We will tell everyone who visits Pai to stay here, thank you!
The owner is the sweetest lady you'll find. She manages this place with a single help, so be patient as she may have lots of things to do. Each morning she herself prepares your eggs for your breakfast which was the best we had in the many hotels we tried in Thailand.
The place is located outside of the main street which is loud and crowded with young people partying and being loud. If you want to be in a more quiet location, this is the place!
It was a great experience.
The rooms were comfortable and clean.
The pool was fun and clean.
The hospitality was amazing and the staff were magnificent. Even the laundry was good 😊
The resort was a bit far from town so we rented their bicycles and it was a fun way to transport ourselves. Motorbikes would've done the same impact but we don't ride them.
We couldn't ask for a better resort. Probably the best one we had in thailand.
I absolutely love this place!
My 3 days turned into 6 days which turned into 9 days. I actually didn't want to leave. My favourite bamboo hut in Thailand!
It's clean, calm and peaceful. Arpar is the most kindest, sweetest soul and a great host.
Thank you Arpar for everything. You are amazing!
I am truly thankful to have met you and stayed with you @ Tulip Resort.
We had the room in front, which was a single hut, so we had no direct neighbors, which was nice because it was quiet.
Room was big. Balcony was really large with seating area.
Bed was Thailand standards comfortable.
Bathroom had everything you need :)
Communication was super fast and they helped us out whenever we needed something
We thought the resort was really cool , especially the Greek spinoff. Loved the breakfast setup with all the stations . The pool was a good size , your gym and the gym space was fabulous, plus you got a beautiful sunrise as a bonus . Free shuttle to and from the town was excellent. Though a short walk into town or back to hotel .
Really cute rooms however I found them to be a bit pricey for what they were. We didn’t have air con in the room and it was still more than we paid anywhere else in Thailand. The pool wasn’t open on our first day which was a shame because it was a big selling point for us however otherwise no issues, staff were lovely!
Everything from location to the staff and the breakfast. The size of the room is on the small side but everything was well fitted into the space in the room and the mattress was so comfortable. I had the best sleep here out of 16 nights in Northern Thailand. I would highly recommend this place to my friends.
The showers and the beds were actually the best ones I had so far in Thailand. Everything was clean and the lady who worked there was so friendly and nice! Everything was perfect. It is not a party hostel, it is a really chill place is you want to chill out and have a good night sleep.
The 2 nights stay was a surprise birthday gift for my daughter, who was in Thailand at that date, travelling with a friend. She was very impressed with the place and the welcome she got there, including drinks and desert on-the-house. She loved her huge room and the swimming pool(s).
Wow. Society House is without doubt the best hostel in Thailand. It’s so beautiful the furnishings, gardens, dormitories! Stunning. Wonderful breakfast and met some fantastic travellers. 10 stars.
The cottages are very beautiful. The garden with the pool is nice, breakfast was the best we had in Thailand. The staff is very sweet and they will do everything to help you.
This hotel is just perfect!!
the atmosphere is relaxed , gardens and pool beautiful. room is large and new.
we loved it, all day free shuttles . great breakfast
Best hotel in Pai - great breakfast with lots of selection and good location. Hospitality from the husband and wife team is incredible. Will come back soon ....
Best shower I have had in Thailand! Huge room and all facilities worked. The pool has been kept clean and you can lean on the edge and watch the river go by.
