The bed was SO comfortable, the shower/bathroom was huge and so was the room in general. The location was located perfectly for our reason for stay. Shanna and her staff were amazing and when I asked about additional parking (previous reviews mentioned the small parking garage) and she gave us a card for the city parking garage next to the facility. Parking was 12$ which I didn't think was too bad. Overall our stay exceeded my expectations considering some of the negative reviews I had read prior to our stay. We attended a show at the Metropolitan, which was literally around the block. Close to the bars and a few restaurants which was perfect for after the show. Definitely will stay again next time I'm in Morgantown!

Great college town with lots of availability to shop, attend sporting events. Wide variety of great restaurants. Easy access in to to and well laid out. Two great hospitals. Friendly people and reasonably clean for a university town. Excellent Italian testauranta, steak restaurants, seafood restaurants, but also provided a variety of burger,chicken, Mexican, and other good ethnic food.

I liked the convenience to everything.
I liked the convenience to everything. I went to a spa Tonique's triology and had a great massage and ended up having a curly girl haircut and color, both were excellent!!!!
I went to eat at Suncrest Towne Centre at Crab Shack Caribba and had the cajun seafood pasta, which was great! I also ate at Taziki's and had the hummus and pita (soft) and salmon and rice which was delicious! Also ate a soul food restaurant, which was good but parking was difficult.

You better enjoy college students if visiting Morgantown when school is in session. Lots of things to do. Good food. I used to live there (as an adult) and knew a good bit about it. Lots of shopping, beautiful countryside, lots of interesting buildings. I tried Fresh Mint, a restaurant downtown by the County Court building and the post office. Great Indian food. Morgantown is easy to navigate but rush hours are a real pain.

The Ice machine did not work in our building, the vending machine room was locked. The room did not have a trash can and tissues in the bathroom. There was only enough towels for one person, when we went to get more the office only had 2 small ones. The room was not cleaned and was supposed to have been. Therefore, no clean towels. When I sat on the bed, something broke underneath it. When I went to complain the morning we were leaving, the office was locked even though the hours said it was suppose to be open. Never again will we stay. It looked like it was condemned by the looks of the outside.

My trip was for medical reasons.
My trip was for medical reasons. It was very close to the hospital and convenient. If you are looking for a pleasant place to stay that is easily accessible to other places in Morgantown, this is an excellent choice. Most of my travels to the area have been medical. Morgantown is a fascinating place to visit with many sights to see.

Most of the time we are in Morgantown going to the University Hospital
Morgantown is spread out over a large area, probably best known for the WVU Football team, The Mountaineers. The Hospital is one of the major medical facilities in the Tri-State area. Ruby Memorial. Many Restaurants and shopping facilities are also spread out over a very large area. Make sure you have your GPS and save a lot of time if you are not from the area. You can get lost in Ruby Memorial Hospital also but the staff is very helpful.
This is a very basic motel, intended as a place to flop for a day or two, and move on. It had that 'hotel cleaning products' smell, as do many budget motels. About a mile away are all the services one might need for food and shopping. One can walk there in 15 minutes on sidewalks if needed. Lunch and dinner restaurant is a five minute walk. NO BREAKFAST nearby without travel of at least a mile. It is near the river front path for easy access to the town by way of bike, scooter or skates. Safe neighborhood.
Now living in Arizona for a number of years, this was suggested to me by a college friend. We went college together an hour down the road. The entire town was booked due to an event and the timing of my visit. He brought up Morgantown and this place as a suggestion. Less expensive by $100 a night and the surroundings short walking distance restaurants and museums for one night made sense. I was glad I trusted my friend taking his word. The room was spacious, modernized, comfortable and slept well that night.
All the other hotel AIDS that I've ever stayed at has always been pretty nice clean friendly staff. But this one on the other hand it basically reminded you of a roach rundown motel the staff was not very I'm going to say happy and the room the bed itself look like somebody has done been laying in it and the room itself is nasty dirty looking like it's never been cleaned. I will not stay in hotels that way and I had a lot of faith in super 8 because I have stayed at multiple super rates before.
I'm on the road every month for my work, and I stay in a lot of different hotels. We were at this location for three nights.
* We paid to upgrade to the one-bedroom suite, which was so worth it. The room layout made sense.
* I worked one day from the room, and the WiFi was very good and easy to access - highest marks.
* Great kitchenette.
* I really liked the room location!
* The room HVAC was efficient.
Breakfast = N/A
We liked the cleanliness and comfort of the room and public areas. The entire staff was also friendly and helpful. Not so far from the hotel, there are some options for dining.
We liked the modern design of the room with a balcony.
I missed breakfast, but my partner enjoyed some fresh cut fruit and good coffee! I appreciate the fact that the hotel offered fresh cut fruit instead of non-nutricious canned food.
Perfect location. Comfortable beds with plenty of space for us and our 4 young kids. I was so happy to be back in Morgantown and to show my family where I have always talked about. The hotel, and its updates, were perfect! The only negative, I wish there was a continental breakfast-that’s always a plus when you are a family traveling with young kids. We will definitely be back!
Bed was great, couch was comfy, and the pool was really nice. Also, continental breakfast was pretty good. I honestly wish I would have stayed longer, but I had to leave early the next day. If I have to travel through Morgantown again and can't stay with local family, I'll definitely come here again.
Nicely designed for longer stays. Beds were outstanding. Clean, quiet, safe. Lots of room. Really enjoyed this place. A little away from campus, if that's your goal, but good value for Morgantown. Not far off I-68. Lots of stores and fast food restaurants nearby. Kroger and CVS right down street.
I have travelled to 37 countries from bnbs to the Grosvener house in London. They all had better breakfasts than this hotel. Bagels, bread, yogurt, juices, tea and coffee are not my idea of a good breakfast selection.
Thje price seemed right and the location was not terrible. The parking was plenty and free, and directly in front of the hotel. There were enough towels and soap. The bathroom was spotless! The room was quite spacious.
This hotel is pretty basic with no frills. We did appreciate the microwave and fridge, but there was no breakfast. At the front desk Kat was wonderful.
