The front desk when there was very helpful. Was a bit disturbing that at check in no one was available. At one point I thought I locked myself our of my room and no one was there to assist. I had not locked myself out, but still a little unsettling. Compared the rate for the stay with friends that live in Denmark and they thought I paid too much. Room was a good size with all the amenities you would expect. The restaurant (which is also used by the residents of the town) was very good. You will need to book as it is popular. Excellent buffet breakfast with hot and cold food. Wi fi worked. Free car park for residents of the hotel. Within walking distance of numerous bars/restaurants, where you can even sit outside if it is warm enough.

The room was fine; clean, good size, comfy beds, possibility for tea/coffee making etc, small fridge. We visited the bowling centre next to the motel where we had a burger before we walked to Boxen. Otherwise, not so many possibilities for having dinner close to the motel, but this was fine for us under our circumstances. The breakfast is tasty and with a good variety.
