In summary, I loved staying at the Cave of Dreams. The property is beautiful, the room is private and very comfortable, with its own balcony for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. I was visiting Guadix and Bazaar, so this was perfect for both. Accommodation fine, bar and restaurant fine. Enjoyed the terrace in the evening, the only thing was the pool was to cold to swim. They use spring water, if they used tap water it would have been perfect. Otherwise I would go there again.

Nice place to visit, plenty cheap places and expensive places to eat which ever you fancy, plenty parking and mostly free. Enjoyed the lakes took a picnic and blanket. Shame the picnic area is going down hill as the water tap there is now not available so could not wash hands or anything, lovely drive down though, and at this time of year I would have thought the area would have had a shop or cafe open but all closed. Eat at meson abuelo good food for cheap price and free tapa with drinks. Easy to walk around town if able body.

We loved the coolness of the cave house especially as it was very hot in July. Baza is a lovely town but a car is necessary as the position of the cave is very rural. There is a cave hotel just down the road from the property which serves meals all day, also very lovely.

Great location for us. Parking next to hotel is paid parking (blue zone) but plenty free on street parking closeby, towards the library. The menu in the dining room for 10 euro per person was great value. The rooms on the 3rd floor have been refurbished and are great, we had a tiny balcony, but at end of November obviously too cool to sit out once the sun had moved around. Lovely welcome from the young girl when we checked in, and the owner (I think he was the owner) was very helpful.

Friendly staff. Clean room. A/C and Wifi works. Bathroom has a bidet! Private parking is on the street in front of the hotel, but if you have a motorcycle - like me - they let you put it in a big dancing saloon located in the building. That was nice from them :-) The place is pretty much a truck drivers stop. Hence something very basic, food delicious and not too much fancy, service and company is like being in a group of people that know each other since long time.

We had a great stay. staff was really friendly and helpful. Never stayed in a cave before. Pool was closed due to end of season. Restaurant was open on our arrival. We had a meal there and it was amazing and large portions. Unfortunately it was then closed so didn't had a chance to try breakfast. Baza was a great little town with lots to see and do. Great atmosphere and very friendly locals.

Not a lot - we arrived and had to ask the neighbour about the situation as the cave looked closed down, he called the owner and was told the key was in the door and that the hotel across the road which had the restaurant and other facilities for us to use was closed for 2 week’s due to annual leave.

I had a deluxe room. Bed was both very wide and full length, not the normal Spanish short childrens bed size. Staff was pretty nice. Food was pretty ok too. Although, off season, and the location fitted, so it was one of the better options in the area. Quirky decorations in the hotel.

Quite easy to find, only pay parking on street outside hotel. Reception in the bar, which is also the sitting area and restaurant quite nice. Rooms are a bit small, not much storage space, but ok for a short stay. Restaurant, service and food are excellent.

We have stayed in the Dama De Baza a couple of times now and it gets better each stay. They have been slowly renovating the hotel and they have a new chef both are assets to the hotel. The rooms comfortably fit 4 people and staff are really friendly.

The apartment has an almost ideal location if you want to be close to most of the „highlights“ of Baza and is generally pretty spacious. The hosts replied very quickly and at least tried to help with most issues we had.
