The architecture was breathtaking. We felt we were in many parts of Europe. Montmorency Falls are a must see, absolutely spectacular. Notre Dame Basillica another amazing place to see. The guided tour of Chateau Frontenac is not to be missed, a really informative, beautiful experience. Take the funicular to Le Petit Champlain and soak in the oldest street in Quebec. The Parmesan restaurant, Bistro Hortus and Cafe Buade are wonderful places to eat. We will hold this trip in our hearts forever.

Gem of Canada.
Gem of Canada. Absolutely recommended place to go - especially if you have not been to Europe, or have been and missing it.
Old town is definitely a must for a walk and eat-outs (Aux Anciens Canadiens, Restaurant Sagamite), plus the park Plains of Abraham.

We took various tours and they were all wonderful.
We took various tours and they were all wonderful. The people are friendly and every meal we had was amazing. The topography took some getting used to, but it made for beautiful views. The Alphonse restaurant is so good we went three times. The night-time ghost tour was fun and the tour to Montmorency Falls, etc., was a highlight. Sadly, the tours of the Morrin Centre weren’t available the days we were there, but the library is worth the cost of a day ticket (especially for fans of murder mysteries)!

Lots to explore people friendly and patient with us fools who did not continue our French after college. Food and servers very good-you won’t leave hungry. Very walkable felt safe in areas around the hotel. Lots of smiling faces. Be kind to your servers and tip as though you are at home. The exchange rate is not equal and it doesn’t hurt to e a little more generous. It is really being kind to our northern neighbors.

Quebec is the most beautiful city in North America, in my opinion. The older part is compact, and pedestrian-friendly. I suggest planning to park your vehicle on arrival, and walk! I was pleased to see that Quebec has improved the riverside expressway connecting the bridges over the St. Lawrence to downtown, and has added miles of riverside parks, bikeways, bus transit stations, and public artwork along the way. My only disappointment is that the Museum of Fine Arts has been largely closed for renovation of the main galleries.

The location was perfect for the 2 nights I reserved.
City buses where on the same street as the hotel location, very affordable way to go visit the old Québec city.
Get ready to do a lot of walking and sightseeing
Great location for getting to both Old Town and St. Roch. Sidewalk cafes and restaurants on Rue St. Paul in both directions and next door. Nice ambience compared to touristy Old Town (although Old Town is beautiful). Would stay again. Although it was a bit of a difficult trek, climbing the hill was worth it to be able to easily access St. Roch and river for walking. I loved this hotel. And attached French restaurant was very good.
Probably one of the best hotel rooms (#53) Ive stayed in anywhere in the world. Huge room. King bed. 2 large arm chairs. Good TV. Electric fire place and AC. Large bathroom. The room was downstairs with a window onto a small courtyard. Ver quite. Location is PERFECT. On the edge of Old Town so an easy stroll to everything. Much better than closer to Chateau Frontenac where all the tourist busses are.
Amazing location for being a tourist in old Quebec. You really could not beat the convenience of the location. We were there Saturday-Weds and we knew we would unlikely find street parking (especially on the weekend), but it was $25 a day for valet with the hotel, and that was honestly well worth it. Also the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept on in a long time.
The location was very good--in old town and walking distance to food, museums, etc. The street level of the hotel was visitor information on one side and on the other side you could get tickets and more information. Very convenient! Hotel staff very accommodating and helpful! Hotel had been updated recently and was very nice. Would stay there again and recommend it to friends.
In particular, this hotel where you can cook your own meals while traveling with your family was very useful.
1 King Size Bed on the 2nd floor, a bunk bed for children in a separate room, and a living room and kitchen on the 1st floor.
Location in Quebeck Old Town was good for sightseeing.
Absolutely lovely hotel in the perfect location for Quebec City Old town . I was upgraded on arrival to a room with a view of Le Chateau Frontenac .Large modern room , really clean and comfortable and the staff were all amazing. . I was so glad that I decided to stay here .
The hotel is an outstanding location in the old part of Quebec which means that you are a short walk to all the key attraction in the old town. You are a 2 minute stroll to a whole range of restaurants. The rooms are of good size, comfy bed, air-conditioned with a fridge.
Great location in Old Town Quebec City. No on-site breakfast, but cafes nearby. The hotel has a lounge for guests with Nezpresso &tea. We sent out laundry with good results. Secure parking a block away. We also liked dinners in their adjoining Hortas restaurant.
Very very clean. Room is small but has everything that you need. Location is top. Walking distance to multiple neighbourhoods (incl. old town) with good restaurants and bars. Parking right next to the hotel. Late check-in worked flawlessly
Nice hotel with good sized rooms, two kitchen areas, not far from the historic old town near the Plains of Abraham. Easy to find with 3 parking places if needed although coming via train makes it easier. Good value for money.
Very elegant hotel...WONDERFUL staff and the best location to walk and enjoy the citadel and the beautiful old town of Quebec in a very slow leisurely enjoyable time frame. So glad we stayed here!!!
Very cute hotel located in a convenient location in Old Quebec. Close to restaurants, waterfront. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for a future vacation.
this is a wonderful hotel! a true gem in old Quebec City! definitely would recommend to anyone! the staff at the front desk/reception were so friendly and nice. good job.
Right across the street from Hotel Frontenac. Right in the center of Old Town. Close to everything and in the same building of the Quebec Tourism center.
