The owner was exceptionally kind, he welcomed us with some Primitivo wine and gave us super useful tips about where to eat. The room was amazing, with violins hanging from the ceiling, a screen projector, a mini fridge to keep our water fresh, a small cuisine and a private bathroom.
Right outside there was an amazing patio surrounded by nature.
B&B Casa Mariangi offers a pretty garden and a terrace with panoramic views of Castellana Grotte. Its buffet breakfast includes fresh local dishes, including bread, biscuits and handmade jam tarts.

Calm location with parking, great, kind owner always available.
Homemade breakfast, attention to any need.

Perfect location, as it was in the country-side but not too distant from many different hot-spots. The nature was incredible (we were in a Masseria, but Castellana Grotte in general is named after the "Grotte" very unique and beautiful natural caves). The places nearby - both in the country-side and on the coast (Polignano a mare, Monopoli, etc)- were breath-taking and worth visiting. Overall a "strategic" location for our northern-Puglia travels!

The town is so pretty, lots of lovely buildings and great places to eat. The fresh food market was amazing and the locals so friendly and happy to help. The caves are amazing, well worth a visit. Alberrobello, a town of trulli houses is a short drive away, a must see. Landing in Bari airport, its a 40min drive to Castellana. We will definitely return!

Hotel was very nice, good location, very clean, the breakfast was good. a bit limited options but very good. the only complain was the fact that in our room the bathroom was open on the ceiling and we could hear all noises from the next room.. inclding snoring... coughing.. etc.... I would recommend the owners to close the bathrooms since you will smell your neighbors... I believe they made a terrible mistake with that. the rest is very good. I discovered I paid too much after I checked other options in the area.. overall o k
We loved our stay in this restored trullo. It is in a good location to visit Bari and all the local towns and it is close to restaurants and shopping facilities in Castellana Grotte. The trullo is very clean, provides basic cooking utensils and breakfast items and has parking next to the property. The hosts Michele and Vito, provided information prior to our arrival, brought croissants each morning, and were very welcoming. Make sure to visit the caves and do the extended tour! We definitely recommend staying here!
We booked this hotel for 3 nights as it was central for the sightseeing we had planned .
It was also a good price for the comfort room
The room was big and the bed comfortable but we were at the back of the hotel and a dog howls most of the night : (
The staff were friendly , especially the young man at breakfast.
The pool is a nice area but unfortunately the weather wasn’t good when we were there
This property is the best for a couple, it is situated in
the center of Castellana Grotte, near the città
vecchia (old neighborhood) and also it was very
close to a beautiful medieval church builded around
1383. In this property you will feel the real sensation
of being in a medieval town but in modern times. The host, Davide, was a really nice guy, ready to help for everything.
The setting is in a beautiful secluded location. The hotel itself and garden are stunning and feel spacious and peaceful. Rooms, seating area and pool were all immaculate and stylishly designed while retaining an authentic and rustic feel. Marco was amazing, from beautifully made breakfast to flexible checkout and thoughtful gifts, hospitality was second to none.
The owner was kind to answer any questions and to let us for early check -in (1 hour earlier).
The location was a few metres away from the Italy's most famous and biggest cave Castellana Grotte.
The breakfast was delicious.
The argentinian guy working there Santi was very kind and friendly.
The hotel had a private parking.
It is a neat, a bit old fashioned hotel, which happens to be in the best spot to visit the Castellana caves.
The staff is incredibly nice and fun too.
The breakfast was excellent and plentiful even thought the guests, including my husband and myself dug into it with considerable enthusiasm.
Everything.
Fantastic room, super clean, most comfortable beds in the universe, lovely balcony, phenomenal breakfast, exceptional staff and service. And right next door to the famous underground caves of Castellana.
The hotel even gave us a discount to apply towards the entry tickets! 😁
Very nice and cozy place in the heart of the town and not far away from Grotte di Castellana. Erasmina, our host, was very kind and hospitable and allowed us to check in earlier. I definitely recommend this place if you are going to visit Castellana Grotte.
The hotel is located near the cave.
-Private parking
-Clean rooms with balcony
-Kind staff
-Very good and rich breakfast with an exceptional coffee.
A very good restaurant open all year is next to the hotel.
The Host was very welcoming, room and bathroom were very clean.
Good ratio between Price and quality
Very near Castellana Grotte by car or walking. The owner found us discounted tickets for the visit!
The hotel is close to Grotte and near the city center. The staff was helpful. The room was small but clean . It has some problems with toilets, or at least those rooms situated on the first floor.
The hotel is elegant and clean.
The staff was very helpful.
We highly recommend to have dinner there, they have very good food quality and friendly staff.
The pool is small, but stylish.
Amazing host, it was the best experience on booking so far, and I travelled already a lot. I really recommend
it if you want to visit Castellana Grotte. Perfect! 11/10 :).
Nice apartment in Castellana Grotte! We especially liked the outdoor area and the attention to detail - the host had thought about every single detail in this apartment.
