Situated in the pretty seaside town of Torrox, this hotel has fantastic views of the Mediterranean. You can sunbathe in the private grounds, next to the beach.

Torrox is a very pretty resort. A good mix of locals and holiday makers from across Europe… Beautiful beach quite unspoilt, incredible simple food, beach bbqs and wonderful fresh fish cooked on the open bbq fire…
Super clean, a calm peaceful place. Very easy to get around, car needed really to access it and other areas around it. We ate in various beach bars with wood fires, yummy… Nerja is quite nice to visit too, again many restaurants and littje shops to browse. The Curry House was extremely delicious if you did fancy a good homemade curry whilst on holiday… Best value supermarket Mercedona on outskirts of Nerja, many more options than Aldi or Lidl….much cheaper too! Great Mexican food in central Nerja too… Brilliant for families and couples, a day trip to Malaga 40cm away ….

At first glance the tall tower blocks may be off-putting to those who prefer a pretty village. However, Torrox Costa has so much to offer, you soon get over it! A long beach with wide promenade. Plenty of cafes and eateries. Shops and a bank. A weekly market. Great supermarkets. Everything is within walking distance. Good access for those in a wheelchair. Lovely climate, obviously. A calm and relaxed feel. Friendly. Very convenient for exploring this part of Spain. Easy parking on the whole. Nerja is just 15 mins away (due East)- traffic and parking is an issue there though (although there is a huge car park in the centre which helps and is reasonably priced). But good to have Nerja nearby for a stroll, and for a change of scenery. Also, Burriana Beach on the Eastern edge is the best for shops, restaurants and facilities and a pretty cove. Torrox village is just 10 mins away (head North). Great shopping at El Ingenio (The Factory) a large shopping centre in Velez Malaga - 20 mins due West of Torrox Costa. There are clothes shops, a cinema, a large supermarket, and plenty of parking (some shaded). The motorway will get you from A to B easily in this part of Spain. I recommend renting an apartment at El Penoncillo community - a group of nicely designed apartment blocks with pretty landscaped gardens and a gated community. Parking is easy on the road the encircles the flats. You can walk to everything in Torrox Costa from there, so you could actually manage without a car if you were staying local. Torrox Costa is about 50 mins drive from Malaga airport on the motorway. It can be a bit of a stressful drive as you leave the airport, just bear in mind. But worth it to have your own rental vehicle once you are in Torrox Costa. Recommend Malagacar.com at the airport for car rental.

The area and the promenade is wonderful, safe for walking and wheelchairs. Because it was January a considerable number of the restaurants were not open, however, 5 or 6 were & sufficient to have dinner every night. Lots of cafes to have food, coffee or a drink and enjoy the sunshine and the ocean view ( about 50 metres from the waters edge). Most of these cafes closed around 17.30 - 18.00 hours because of January, but during the main season period I was assured they stay open until very late. A number of smaller supermarkets for basics and a great big supermarket about a 5 minute walk away. There is a bowling tent, basketball court, exercise area, all free, something for everyone. Every Monday the Torrox market takes place in the same location with lots of food and every type of item or clothing you could imagine.
Torrox Costa has a lot to offer

Torrox Costa is a well run municipality.
Torrox Costa is a well run municipality. It is clean, attractive, has an excellent bus service both local and along the coast, and good tourist office. Supermarkets are excellent and the choice of cafés bars restaurants and chiringuitos is large. The weather is very good and one of the things they promote with good reason. The beach promenade goes on for kilometers and is very accessible. The 'other half' namely Torrox Pueblo, with its Moorish history, is also attractive to visit for a more traditional Spanish experience. Of course the several sites of Roman ruins down Avenida del Faro and the Paseo Maritimo are a 'must see'.
Nice clean hotel, all the staff were friendly
Good sized, well equipped rooms
The shower in the bath was a bit of a strange configuration, and the shower head did not stay in any one position. Also, the morning shower was more or less cold, with no hot water at all.
But by far, the best part of the hotel is the rooftop pool, patio, and bar great pool with lovely views of the sea.
Despite the issue with the shower, we would not hesitate to book again if our travel took us that way.
We were met with the keys on arrival. Showed us around the apartment and instructed us in the use of the hot tub on the roof terrace with superb views to Nerja. The location suited us perfectly . On EL Penoncillo beach . 2 Chiringuitos (beach bars) directly in front of the apartment block. Other bars/restaurants and a small supermarket nearby and then 10mins walk the main busier resort of Torrox Costa.
It's a very nice large appartment that has everything and we got a very kind warm welcome from the host. The cleaness was exceptional. The location is fantastic as there are many clean beaches at walking distance. There is a pool too. The appartment is also very quiet at night which you don't find very often in spain.
The hotel and all the rooms were spotlessly clean, and coronovirus restrictions were strict as they should be to safeguard everyone. The location was excellent and it is the only hotel near the El Faro lighthouse and the busy seafront of Torrox Costa.
Great spot. Paco was there to meet us at the address ..... Clean, comfortable accommodations for our stay in Torrox Costa. 5 minutes to the beach and beach restaurants and a great walking area the length of the beach.
Modern/Clean/Right on the beach and 3 minutes from the dog beach. Beach very clean.
Could have provided an airial photo showing the block to make initially findong it easier.
But on the whole loved it.
fantastic location right at the beach. but would recommend getting a car for the ease of travel. There are quite a few Spanish restaurants on the beach and a German restaurant more towards the town.
Very nice apartment next to the beach. It was comfortable, quiet at night, and it had good quality furniture. Several restaurants within walking distance.
