The Drisco Hotel Tel Aviv - Relais & Châteaux, hotel in Tel Aviv

The Drisco is a heritage-landmark, 5 star superior hotel, established in 1866, and a proud member of Relais & Châteaux.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive. Both the hotel and my room were spotless, which speaks volumes about their commitment to cleanliness and hospitality. I would give them a 10/10 for their attention to detail. They even went the extra mile by leaving a small gift in our room for my partner's birthday, which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options. Before my stay, the hotel staff ensured I had all the necessary information, including tips on local attractions, dining, and activities. My experience at this hotel was truly outstanding—I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Tel Aviv is an interesting city in the diversity of its habitat and its population. There is a good choice of museums there. The beaches are superb. It is easy to get around by bus or metro. We made the round trip to Jerusalem easily and quickly by train.

I can't answer because I live in Israel and went because I had an early appointment and didn't want to have to get up so early as to be sure to arrive on time. I wanted to be relaxed. I did find the average person to be pleasant, friendly and helpful which was nice for a big city. The beach is fabulous and accessible. If you want to combine culture and a resort feeling, TA is a good place. You won't find Ancient Israel here but it had what every major city anywhere does. It's one of the most expensive cities in the World, so be prepared.

Tel Aviv is a scintillating, varied and exciting city with everything for tourists, young and elderly. Music, opera house, concerts, classical and jazz. Art galleries and museums… cafes, bars and beaches. For all denominations, Synagogues, mosques and churches in Jaffa. Markets by the port, in the centre of the city and in Jaffa. If needed, first class health facilities, hospitals and clinics. Trains, buses and the new light railway, also taxis are in plenty People are welcoming and helpful. The best is just walking around and enjoying the atmosphere.

We came not only to help the country at such a difficult time, but also to reconnect with family and friends. Tel Aviv is a vibrant, bustling city...if you've never been you'll notice that Israelis are loud and somewhat impatient. There's more car horns honked here than anywhere else. The bus system is terrific and it's easy to get around, either by bus or train. There are some wonderful museums here, particularly the ANU Museum at Tel Aviv University in Ramat Aviv. The Carmel Market and Nahalat Binyamina are great outdoor markets. Most things are within walking distance of the hotel, and if not, then a short bus ride. The train station that takes you to Jerusalem is within walking distance as well and the train ride is less than an hour. If you're a beach person, the entire coastline is beaches with a boardwalk and a carousel. And the food in restaurants is terrific! We didn't have a bad meal while here. And the bakeries are to die for. Israelis are so grateful for the support they receive from tourists and we made many friends along the way, from shop keepers to hotel staff. A very worthwhile trip!

Perfect location. Few minutes walking to the beach. Very few minutes walking to the Flea Market where you have many small streets with bars and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood felt very safe and little traffic in the street during the night and also not much during the day. Room was good, bed was good, AC was quiet and good. Balcony was small but seated two people. Double showers are good. Small grocery store in the same building, only few steps away from hotel entrance. When back in Tel Aviv I will stay there again.

Best location in Tel Aviv, steps from one of the best shopping / food districts (for a cheap, quick meal, the falafel / schnitzel stand in the square can’t be beat). The staff, especially Sivan at the front desk are friendly and highly competent. there are a ton of little touches and unexpected amenities that elevate your stay. the building itself is also historic Bauhaus and is decorated throughout with tons of old posters and film projectors, a nod to the building’s past. this could quite possibly be the best hotel in Tel Aviv

The place was amazing, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. they upgraded our room for a nicer one and they gifted us a bottle of wine for my partner's birthday. We also got a complementary 15 minute massage. The breakfast was also very nice and tasty. The location of the hotel is amazing. The single room was extremely quiet and comfortable. If you like to walk, many locations are easily accessible from this hotel. I was walked to Old Jaffa, the beaches, the Carmel Market and many other places. There are hundreds of restaurants of all types within walking distance as well. The area is safe and the vibe of Tel Aviv is all around you. To top it off, the breakfast here is possibly the best I have ever had while traveling, although I understand that it is common to have extraordinary breakfasts in Israel.

A nice but simple hotel near the beach in Tel Aviv. The location is great, even if I didn't avail myself of all the sea and sand. The area has many places to eat, and one is just a short walk from the center of the city with all its amazing cultural attractions. I appreciated the fact that breakfast took account of the dietary restrictions for Passover. While this is no luxury hotel, it is clean and comfortable and provides all one could ask for, including a nice breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel close to the beach in northern central Tel Aviv. The room was nice with comfortable beds and bathroom. It's just about 3 min walking distance to the beach and you can borrow some extra towels and a bag for the beach for free. There are cafes, restaurants and supermarkets close by. For breakfast they provide good coffee, cake and some fruit. We easily walked from there to all places we wanted to visit in Tel Aviv. Even to Jaffa it's about 40 min walking along the beach.

This boutique, 16 – room property, is a hidden gem in the most central part of Tel Aviv central beach resort area. The staff are accessible and always willing to help, and the 5 minute walk to the beach can’t be beat. The rooms include ample closet space and counters for clothing storage, and the coffee service in the lobby is a nice touch. we love this hotel for its relaxed ambiance. Smaller than many quality Tel Aviv hotels it's got a calmer quieter atmosphere. Its front desk is staffed 24/7 and they are very helpful. There is a marvellous rooftop area to sit and chat or drink coffee, and a lobby bar. We also love the location, right by a lovely beach and a few moments walk to Ben Yehuda and Dizengoff streets with all their restaurants etc.

The location was great! It is located near the beach. I had no problem getting to the hotel from the airport on Public Transportation!
