I arrived here at midnight, at a big modern airport.
I arrived here at midnight, at a big modern airport. I saw bus system in action. Rode to the hub on #5 then waited for #16 to south Tryon to get to laQuinta. No traffic late at nite, unlike Manhattan (,my town). Downtown looks thriving, lots hotels restaurants and activities. Good sports town I think. The working people at midnight were friendly and helped me reach my destination.
Hotel staff also warm and respectful. Not sure I will ever return but loved that Charlotte airport. Bus system here is excellent even at midnight.

Eating areas are needed.
Eating areas are needed. Hotels menu's are limited, so you go outside seeking other options. We found a burger king in the bus station, seemed like an unlikely location for any food service, yikes.
The people are super nice and the city was very clean. I commend the city's efforts there.
Access in and out of town was easy too.
Thanks Charlotte for a lovely NCAA experience.
If you want team gear, bring it, no one sells it on site.
If you want a NCAA shirt of some sort, wait in line 30-40 minutes at the top of the escalator in the main entrance and still not get a common size large, isn't fun for the experience.

Charlotte has a lot to do and some really nice areas, but you need to be careful because there are a lot of rough and scary areas, Example, we went into a gas station to purchase a phone charger and the employees were wearing glocks with magazines, We were terrified.

Absolutely not and will never return.
Absolutely not and will never return. I booked a standard king when I arrived I was told that room was not available then she took my payment and also was kick Ed out the following day even though I had the same room con firmed and booked. And was told that I had to come back after 3. I was in dis belief and what gets me is why and where and what make booking .dot com think I have time to deal with headaches when I've been nothing but what they ask of me I fell more like a punk that getting abused and I am not happy about any thing at all here it is over a week later and I'm still telling sending u pics and I'm annoyed by not only the lack of support but. It's over and done
This is a new facility in a newly constructed district at Ballantyne. Charlotte downtown is actually far from this place.
we were in transit from Washington to Florida so one night stay in the hotel fully suited our purpose. Quite location, nice sleep and everything was new. Park my car just next to the entrance, the parking is big enough and I saw a multi storeys garage on the parking.
Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. After spending a night in a very dirty hotel this stay was relaxing and gave us hope that there are clean and comfortable stays in Charlotte for small money!
The receptionist did her best to make our stay pleasant and the owner of the hotel drove us to the airport in the morning. We would come back and definitely recommend staying there!
From the sweet woman who picked us up at the airport (within 5 min I might add!), to the lovely, personable woman who checked us in and gave us restaurant recommendations to the kind woman who checked us out in the morning and the happy, kind man who drove us back to the airport, the staff was AMAZING! They made us want to come back anytime we pass through Charlotte!
Great location near airport and close enough to downtown Charlotte. They had an airport shuttle available, although we didn’t need it. The warm cookies at check in were a delightful surprise and they had an allergy free option available if needed, and I appreciated seeing the inclusivity on the treats. Room was also spacious, cozy, and had a comfortable bed.
We stayed overnight in Charlotte in order to catch a very early flight the following day. The hotel is about 10 minute ride from the airport and we had no traffic issues. We used the shuttle provided to travel back to the airport. NOTE that the shuttle is not available during particular morning hours dues to it's dedicated use for airline staff training.
The location of the hotel is very convenient to the heart of downtown Charlotte. It is next door to the Spectrum Center and restaurants and shops. Parking is tight in downtown Charlotte so you are best served by walking, using the street car or Uber. Note: parking is $20 a day in the adjacent parking garage (in and out free per day).
The Hotel is very well maintained, the rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. We had no time to use the pool but it looked nice. Nearby are some restaurants to get food and a park to walk.
The staff has been very friendly and helpful, the shuttle-service to and from the airport was uncomplicated.
The facility is bright, clean, and welcoming and the front desk staff is amazing. The hotel is very secure which makes you feel safe. The room is spacious and well equipped for a longer stay. Definitely the best extended stay we've experienced in Charlotte so far.
The room was awesome, big and with beautiful views. The hotel had many facilities including a pool and a gym, as well as a nice restaurant. The free shuttle to the airport is very convenient. Also has a beautiful hiking trail just in front of the hotel.
This hotel was perfect for what we needed! Good proximity to downtown and the airport. The room was exceptionally clean and very spacious. My husband and I enjoyed the hot breakfast, which is a hard find nowadays. This was a great experience all around.
This hotel is a 5 minute walk to a train stop. Then it's a 30 minute train ride to downtown(uptown?) Charlotte. So convenient. If you don't want to drive in and pay for parking, you won't do better.
The hotel gave and option for a free shuttle service to the airport which we didn’t need to use but I thought it was still a great service. Breakfast was good. Beds comfortable. Room clean.
The hotel was chosen because it is very good value for someone looking for a comfortable room with two beds. The location is near the airport and the hotel shuttle driver was very helpful
Decent location. We were able to find a strip mall & restaurants across the street. We planned to venture off to Uptown Charlotte which was about 15-20 mins away from hotel.
My favorite hotel when I visit Charlotte! I love the location, the ambience, always clean rooms and the luxury feel it provides. My go to hotel every time I am in the area.
Conveniently close to the airport. The staff helped me to check in slightly early so that I could finally get some sleep after a long flight. Good value hotel!
