Although certainly cozy, the loft has everything you need for a short stay, including an excellent entertainment system, well-stocked kitchen, and an adorable little table to eat at. We didn't need air conditioning on our stay, but this is probably one of the few places on the Sunshine Coast where you'll find it in case your visit coincides with a hot spell. Most importantly, the hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and they went the extra mile when we left a few items behind, holding on to them until we returned a few days later!

A fantastic breakfast, a great owner / host (Heidi rocks!).
Quiet room, everything we needed and a great location. Nothing but great things to say!
Gibson has a nice water front with shops and restaurants.
Gibson has a nice water front with shops and restaurants. Restaurants either were not open or closed early such as 3pm.
Some shops were not open either. We were there on a Monday, Tuesday and left Wednesday morning. It’s small so not a lot to do.

The Cedars Inn was very good value.
The Cedars Inn was very good value. Accommodations were clean, comfortable and felt safe, and the receptionist was very kind and gracious. The lighting in the room could be improved a bit, and there was temperature control available for guest adjustment if one chose.
I spent time with relatives who took me on a tour of the docks in Gibsons and bays up along the coast.
We ate at the Japanese restaurant next door. Excellent!

We were only there for a 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration with friends. Did minimal sightseeing in Gibsons, but some on the day of arrival. Lots to see and do if you have the time and inclination. Good eating places in both Lower and Upper Gibsons.

Gibson's Hotel is not on the mainland as advertised on this site. When we arrived where we thought the hotel was. It was not there. We contacted the hotel to find out that we had to go by ferry to get there. Therefore we were not able to get to this hotel. We ended up having to find another hotel at the last minute at 10 p.m. at night. I was charged anyways for the room. The hotel was not sympathetic at all. This website has false advetising. Very upsetting.

Very charming town. Beautiful scenery. Walked to the Blackfish pun nearby for dinner and HOLY MOLEY!!! Utterly fantastic meals, the house special beer was nice, and although a bit pricey, totally worth it.

Gibsons and Sechelt are both very scenic towns with many options for those who love spending time in nature, and many options for eating out - the ferry service was a little frustrating with long waits
The accommodation was just perfect. But what turned this from a holiday apartment into a holiday home was the hosts. They settled me in, helped me get my bearings and made introductions. Nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely wanted to make sure I was getting on just fine.
I saw some people on here complain about some of the equipment being dated. Not at all. In fact it was bonus of the place for me to see so much original equipment and features. Everything had been looked after so well.
The Caprice is set on a large wooded lot, with a view of the ocean. My unit was large, well-equipped, comfortable, and very clean. I have family who live nearby so I didn't spend a lot of time at the Caprice, but there are spacious decks, a hot tub, and a pool available for guests to enjoy. (It was April so the pool wasn't open yet.) They are doggie-friendly and very welcoming. The next time I am in Gibsons visiting family, I'd stay at the Caprice again.
We loved Caprice! I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone exploring the Sunshine Coast in their own car. It is close to Gibsons Landing and the main shopping area on Gibsons Way. The grounds are delightful with a lovely lawn, views over the Salich Sea and a courtyard with Hot tub and Swimming pool. Jeanette is very accommodating and friendly and ensures that all your needs are met and has excellent recommendations.
Great location! Quiet neighbourhood yet only steps away from Gibsons Public Market and Gibsons Marina. A short walk to Gibsons Landing where the stores, restaurants/cafes are. Karen is a superb host! She kindly accommodated our early check-in request, showed us the “hidden gems” in the neighbourhood, and even walked us to one of the nearby beaches (we couldn’t find our way). I would definitely recommend this place to others.
Close to
The beach, it was amazing to find a pet friendly accommodation , hosts were so friendly and helpful, kitchen had all the basics needed for making a meal, it was nice to relax in the hot tub in the evening.
I had forgotten some items
And the host was able to mail it to me, very grateful
The basement suite , was cozy and quiet and just what we needed for a little escape
Very clean, well maintained rooms and property. The gardens in the courtyard are beautiful and we really enjoyed being able to book the pool for our own use (due to covid measures). Although we never needed much from the staff, they were pleasant. Although it is not near the waterfront, we enjoyed having easy access to the grocery store and a couple of great restaurants.
Our host Karen met us to give us the keys. She gave us maps and information about key places to go. She was helpful and extremely kind. Their backyard was extremely beautiful. The hot tub was awesome. We were able to see some local deer and hangout with her poodle Zoey.
Everything was amazing and we are so grateful to have stayed at Gibsons Harbour Retreats
Beautiful and special location where you can walk on the beach. Lots of privacy. Lots of open space where a beautiful dear visited us outside our window. Close to Gibsons. Very spacious interior where you get the whole lower level to yourself. Meticulous inside. Extremely kind and helpful hosts.
Everything!!! The location is AWESOME!! The space is cozy & comfortable. Fully loaded with everything imaginable. It is pet friendly and the hostess even had dog treats ♥️ The hot tub was a wonderful way to end the evening. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT get away :)
Great family hotel, with very clean rooms, well-maintained pool, and social areas. Erika and the rest of the staff were amazing and worked as much as they could to enjoy our family holidays. Thank you, Erika! my kids loved it too! Will go back for sure!
We were greeted as soon as we walked in with a welcome and a smile. There was a lovely garden in the centre courtyard where you could sit and enjoy a glass of wine and relax. The room was quite comfy and the hotel very close to several food options.
This was by far the best host/accommodation we have stayed in yet. All the small details in the this place make it so special from the bathroom to the garden there is so much to look at! Lorraine was a super host and made us feel right at home.
Great location. 30 minute walk from shops. 5 minutes in the car. Bus stop near the closest end of the street.
Very quiet neighbourhood A really rural feel without being isolated.
The service is nice, the hotel is not new but clean. The room was spacious and the jacuzzi and pool area were very appreciated as it was very hot outside
