Comfortable beds; window could open; aircon understandable and controllable; bath flat so better for showering; self service teas/ coffees topped up each day; excellent breakfast; staff friendly ... it's the way a half decent hotel ought to be but so few are!

The room was clean and comfortable but slightly cold.
Breakfast on the Friday was good - buffet, but the weekend breakfasts were a disaster.
Location of the hotel was ideal as one could walk to all parts of the town easily.

The location was quite good overlooking a green area; the room itself was an adequate size. Breakfast was very nice but not worth £20 each in my view.

The elegant spa town of Harrogate has some of England’s finest Victorian architecture. Lush greenery and colourful flowers also add to the stately atmosphere.
The main attraction is the Turkish Baths and Health Spa, in a 19th-century building which maintains its original Moorish interior design. Nearby is the Royal Pump Room Museum, set over Europe’s strongest sulphur well and detailing the town’s history.
One ongoing Harrogate institution is Bettys Tea Rooms which serves fabulous afternoon tea. Surrounded by the unique shops of the Montpellier Quarter, it overlooks gardens which continue south to meet The Stray – over 200 acres of parkland whose vibrant spring blossom is quite a sight. On the opposite side of town are the Grade II-listed Valley Gardens, whose bandstand hosts summer concerts. The gardens merge into a pine wood which neighbours the acclaimed RHS Harlow Carr Gardens.
Aside from its visual beauty, the town is also important for conferences. Harrogate International Centre is one of the UK’s top convention venues - just one of the reasons why the accommodation industry here is thriving.
Options on Booking.com include 5-star hotels with spas, cheap apartments near the train station, and guest houses with parking. The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford Airport to the south.
Beautiful town… definitely recommend Harry’s walking tour. (Free and very entertaining and informative) we have a tip at the end of it.
Felt safe, lots of restaurants, shops and history. The valley gardens were fabulous too.

Harrogate is lovely and our only regrets were the food on offer in the hotel restaurant plus the attempt to rip me off when the bill came. And we would have liked a bit more time so as to visit Bettys tea shop

Harrogate is a very pretty town and makes a good base to explore the area. It has lots of good restaurants like Piccolino, The Tannin Level or Oliveta and many great cafés including the famous Betty's. There aren't many sights in the town but it's very pleasant just to walk around and enjoy the architecture and gardens. Harlow Carr RHS Gardens is worth a visit. Historic York is only a 35 minute train ride away and gorgeous Knaresborough only 15 minutes on the same route.
Still, you'll need quite deep pockets as everything is at least as expensive as in London.

RHS Harlow Carr is my favourite place to visit and the purpose of my trip. I ate at the Old Swan Hotel where I stayed. Pretty easy to get around although there are a lot of one way streets and sometimes it is tricky to drive down some of them due to double parking on each side as the roads can be quite narrow. I would keep to the main roads next time.

Harrogate is a lovely spa town with picturesque gardens, lovely shops and a lot of historic buildings. Everything is within easy walking distance if a bit hilly. Harrogate has a great choice of places to eat. we will return.
The location in central Harrogate is excellent for the Royal Hall and the International Conference Centre.
The room was spotless and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Breakfast was available at the Camberley Hotel next door and was delicious.
The little things made a big difference eg the quiet bathroom extractor fan and the double glazing on the windows. The curtains were thick and cut out the light completely.
I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
The hotel room was excellent all around, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was great too.
We only had lunch in the restaurant as we were out for dinner, but the food we had was very good. It was busy in there both at lunchtime and in the evening when we went out, so obviously a popular place to go.
For the location near the centre the price was very reasonable too.
We will definitely look the White Hart up first for availability next time we visit Harrogate.
Great value for money accommodation for a new years eve stay in Harrogate the studio is around 25 min walk into the lovely town centre where we enjoyed an afternoon in several bars with cold bath brewery bar being a must for anyone visiting. Studio 22 is exactly as advertised nice and modern with everything you need. A great alternative to the hotels in the centre itself that were 3 times the price and free parking on a quiet leafy street a bonus will def stay again
Lovely hotel, at the heart of Harrogate. Betty's Tea room is 5 mins walk away and Valleys Garden is worth a visit. Hotel is beautifully restored. Felt we went back in time with spacious Reading Room and Lounge room. Breakfast was served in an amazing dining room. Very good selection of hot and cold breakfast. Worth staying again!
Nice little touch with complimentary Harrogate water in glass bottles, espresso machine, and cookies in our rooms.
This property is beautiful and located in central Harrogate. The rooms offer beautiful views of Harrogate’s iconic landmarks and is less than 10 minutes from the train and bus station, movie theaters, most restaurants, bars and clubs. Even the iconic Turkish baths is just up the road. Next time I come to Harrogate, I will be staying here again.
The hotel is in a great location near the centre of Harrogate, plenty to do nearby that’s only a short walk away. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was well presented with a comfy bed, tasteful decor and provided Yorkshire gold teabags, the TV was in good working order and the WiFi was decent.
Lovely old grand hotel within a 5-minute walk from Harrogate town centre. Parking is on-site, although administered by Harrogate Borough Council so a charge is applicable. Dog friendly too so even better. We only stayed one night and skipped breakfast so can't really comment any further.
Located in the heart of Harrogate, this boutique B&B is nicely decorated and furnished. Kim will look after you and make sure to accommodate your needs. The room and all the common areas are clean at a very high standard. The price I have paid is almost unbeatable.
.
As it was BTME week accommodation in town centre silly money and the Pine Martin when I booked came in at £99. The staff were excellent and the hotel on a bus route to Harrogate (approx 200m from hotel to bus stop)
Lovely hotel in the centre of Harrogate, close to bars and restaurants, not cheap but when the quality is there I don't mind paying which this hotel oozes ! Lovely hotel in a great location.
