Ideal location - walking distance to the beach and is located within the old town. The night life is great, but if you don't like noise and turn in early, I wouldn't recommend it.

A very well maintained seaside town, even in the suburbs.
A very well maintained seaside town, even in the suburbs. It is obvious that the citizens are satisfied with the municipal government and the parks are full of old people and parents with small children. In summary- LIVING CITY.
But...
Apart from duners and pizzas, there is nothing else to eat on the street. It takes a visit to restaurants, which are always overpriced, in the end.

A port city with a long history; visit the archaeological museum for interesting exhibits and maps. The central old town varies greatly in condition; some of the older buildings are being well maintained, others are gently crumbling. The architecture is an interesting mix of Art Nouveau and Transylvanian, with echoes of the Ottoman presence there.
Many lively cafes and restaurants on Piata Ovidiu. Good fish restaurants down by the leisure port. We liked Camarote for service and value.

Constanţa looks like a city which will be amazing after 2025. Summer of 2023 is not the right time to visit, as the whole city is torn up with buildings and roads being updated at scale.
Great restaurants, and atmosphere. Locals are very friendly and helpful towards tourists. FInding people who speak English is fairly easy in the tourist area, but venture outside of it, and you better be armed with google translate.
Prices are all over the place, you can pay between 5 and 50 for the same thing, so it's really hard to keep track of money. Can pay with card almost everywhere.

It's a small quiet town with nice views.
It's a small quiet town with nice views. It's easy to move around. The authorities take care of streets look neater and newer. However, the beach I visited could have been cleaner. I am not sure of the name of the beach, but it's quiet popular and to reach it you have to go downstairs for a few min.
This town is more suitable for a quiet rest with a family or your spouse. If you are looking for parties or active night life, I believe that Constanţa will not suit you.

Constanta is well worth visiting.
Constanta is well worth visiting. Only about two hours by train from Bucharest, the sea air makes all the difference. The old town is the place to go for restaurants, museums, and for strolls by the sea front. The rest of Constanta is less interesting, though there is a nice park with a lake, an amusement park and a couple of malls in the modern centre. For beaches it is best to head out of town to Costinesti or Vama Veche. The city beaches are nice for a walk out of season, but in the summer they are crowded and dirty.

Constanţa is full of interesting, Roman artifacts and sites,...
Constanţa is full of interesting, Roman artifacts and sites, plus has excellent museums. The local restaurants are varied and good quality, too. The downtown is walkable, with a large square where cars are not allowed. The corniche along the Black Sea is well developed, also. We loved the Byblos (Lebanese) restaurant and a little deli with prepared food behind glass, where we ate on the downtown square.
We appreciated the efficient communication with Simona, the warm welcome even though we arrived late in the evening. The apartment is clean and newly renovated. We were pleasantly surprised to find water and soda in the fridge.
The apartment is at ground floor making it convenient for carrying the luggage. There is a 10min drive to Mamaia beach and 15min drive to Constanța Casino (old city). There is a dedicated parking spot behind the building,
We were a group of 4 and we stayed 2 nights.
Helpful staff. Quite a big room (junior suite). There is a direct bus line between the main train station and Mamaia with a stop near the hotel. This bus is also helpful for going to the city center (alternatively, it's around 30 minutes walking). There is a decent restaurant nearby. The breakfast was included in price (yoghurt, bread, cheese, ham, apple, pastry) but it was the same set every morning, with no opportunity to choose anything besides coffee or tea.
The hall of the hotel has been refurbished in a very nice and elegant manner. The difference between Guci and other hotels was made by the 6th floor restaurant and terrace which allows you to see the sea and a part of the port entrance during your breakfast. The hotel is closed to the old city center and Modern beach, Museum of Art, a Carrefour shop and a non-stop opened pharmacy.
The hotel is very nice, situated in a quiet area close to pubs and restaurants and about 15 minutes (easy) walk to Constanta old town. The rate was excellent value, the room was very nice, air conditioning worked perfectly, and the host, Adrian, was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay at Villa Elena next time I am in Constanta. Lovely hotel!
This is a gorgeous apartment!! Location is phenomenal; it’s directly next to the university and a short walk from the beach. Easily reachable by bus from the main train station. Plus the host is incredibly welcoming and accommodating! I can highly recommend this accommodation for a stay in Constanta :)
The room was big and comfortable. There was a fridge and a kettle to prepare yourself a cup of tea or coffee ( your own ) in the room.
The hotel garden
The location is on the street where Mamaia Holiday Village starts where there are plenty of restuarants and holiday attractions ( fun park ).
Location is good, near Mamaia Boulevard, close to the Reyna/3 Papuci beach. Room was well equipped for a "boutique villa" room. The host was nice and we communicated well via messages or on the phone. Also, the price was great, so I recommend it if you want to stay in Constanta on a budget.
Nice, clean and comfortable appartment, very welcoming host. The neighbourhood can't be called appealing, but the bus stop right near the building is a big plus, as it offers direct means of transport both to the train station and to the nearby Mamaia resort. Thank you!
The hotel is clean, pretty easy to arrive from the train station, staff was very nice, I could leave my luggage untill I could check in. 7 mins walk till the beach, two close bus stations less than 100 m away. One of the best restaurants from Constanța next to the hotel
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Constanta. Walking distance to Neversea Beach and to the old town.
Location is very good, close to Mamaia and the old town of Constanta.
The flat is very clean and has all the utilities you need even for a longer stay.
The host was very nice and friendly, explaining the area and very flexible with the checkout time.
The hotel was very nice with everything. Its location is in a place to respond to every request. We will come to this hotel again in my next trips to Constanta. I recommend it to everybody.
Basic but good breakfast.
Location near the Mamaia Region.
2 Markets nearby if needed.
Room was clean, staff managed to do the check-in 3 hours before.
