The staff were super nice, and the location is incredible for a few days of peace and quiet. It was very moving to see the love of the falconry staff, as well as the people who train the horses. We did a visit to both places, and a little horse carriage tour and it was priceless

Well located, close to downtown. Spacious room although it starts to show its use. The only bug was to constantly have to reconnect to Wi-Fi due to being unstable.

I know the village, as I was born and raised in another small village nearby, Seda. It has everything you need from shops to bank, pharmacies, swimming pool , cafes, petrol stations and it is very close to a main road, A23, which can take you everywhere in Portugal.
Perfect if you look for a place where you can switch off your brain from work for a few days. When there try a wonderful delicacy called Tecolameco, divine.
Amazing Location, very well designed hotel combining both historic castle and modern addition. Beautiful pool and quietly located in a very attractive peaceful surroundings of upper Alentejo. Close to interesting places like Marvão, Castelo de Vide and Portalegre. Particularly need to mention the staff: exceptionally, naturally and sincerely friendly and welcoming, very attentive. Very good food at the breakfast and at the hotel dinner restaurant. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon
All I expected and more. Booked for honeymoon, had a bottle of Prosecco and local patisserie in the room at no extra cost, 5 star staff, the hotel itself being an old Monastery and location makes it perfect for pretty much any occasion you can think off. Definitely will be booking again.
Hotel was great and the food in the restaurant marvelous. Very delicious and typical from that region, Alentejo.
Small pool yet very good. Good size for the number of rooms in the hotel.
Comfortable bedroom and hotel common rooms.
Will mark it as a regular 2 or 3 day yearly stays.
The building is very beautiful.
People are nice and very accessible.
Food was very good at the hotel, nice breakfast and we had dinner at the Hotel restaurant and it was very good as well.
Interesting old castle took a minute to find reception. Food was fine, not many options outside the hotel which is a little formal. A walk to the local cafe after dinner was needed.
Perfect lication, vinyards, nature, lakes, silence.
Staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming.
Near Crato, Alter do Chão, Estremoz, amazing gastronomy.
