best thing was the ability to check in late after cruise to the islands and that it had a gym

Whilst I didn't see much of it, I wouldn't stay here. Just travel through on way to Aeolian islands. Surprisingly, no taxi's or uber's at train station when I arrived from Palermo so I had to hitch-hike (lol)!

It's not Taormina which is obviously the jewel in the crown of Sicily but it's a nice town to wander around and the restaurants are good and plentiful.
We stayed there specifically to be close to the Aolian Boat tours (which I don't recommend).

The views from the hotel (including Etna) were just fantastic (we booked sea-view). The location was great for ius as it was a short walk to lots of interesting places for us, and the staff were really friendly ( a bit more english would have been helpful but wasn't necessary)

Milazzo is a beautiful coastal city rich in history, culture and architecture. I was there for just two days as the purpose of us staying there was our sail to the Isole Eolie, but I did notice the city offers excellent shopping and all types of dining and nightlife. And the day and nighttime views of the Aeolian sea and mainland Sicily were gorgeous. As Italian/American tourists, I was delighted how friendly the locals were to us on the street and in the stores/restaurants. Be prepared to pay for parking wherever you go though day and night. I would certainly visit this city again.
AlterEgo was the perfect place for us to stay in Milazzo. The location is perfect, calm but close to the harbor where we started our tour to the Aeolian Islands. The rooms are nice, well equipped and very clean. Rocco is an exceptional host who helped us with everything, you can tell he‘s doing his job with passion. The breakfast was also very good and Rocco and his team helped us a lot by offering gluten free alternatives. So if you‘re going to Milazzo, this is the place to stay, thank you Rocco and AlterEgo Team!
The room style was very peculiar; modern with some Sicilian ornaments, glass doors, white floor and walls. Very close to the sea port and all the restaurants along the coast. The TV is a wide flat screen including Netflix and prime, spotify for some international music and the coffe machine besho a must in hotel rooms.
I enjoy my stay most the afternoon relaxing time reading listening music and enjoying my afternoon Coffe.
I would definetely advice it! SD😉👍
Location is great, a 2 minutes walk to the port.
Breakfast was OK.
Rooftop looked nice- but the hot tub was not working.
The hotel has a sevrice where a guy takes your car from the hotel to a parking nearby, and he brings it back when tou leave, for 10 EUROS per day. It was very conviniet- yet a scary experience - you give your car keys to a total stranger, without any reassurance we will see it again... but it worked out fine for us.
We stayed at I Principi di Casador. It’s a brilliant small hotel, hosted by the wonderful Nino. The rooms are well designed, clean and very comfortable. The location is great: both for the port and to wonder around the (unexpectedly lovely) streets of Milazzo. The breakfast was exceptional: generous, tasty and fresh!
Great location for us wanting to catch the ferry to the Aeolian Islands - just 10 mins walk away.
As requested, the Manager took our car away for parking, kept it stored while we took the ferry to Lipari and then brought it back to us on our return. Excellent service.
Comfortable room and good breakfast.
Lovely little hotel in the center of Milazzo. Decorated with taste, with beautiful historic elements.
During my stay of several days, I lived in a double room. Everything was perfect. Breakfasts - very tasty, especially cakes and pastries. The port and bus stops are within a few minutes' walk.
The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, they welcomed us warmly when we arrived late, and answered all of our questions about our onward travels and helped us find a place for dinner. The room was lovely and comfortable and clean, exactly what we needed for one night in Milazzo.
Breakfast was great ! Eggs ,fresh fruit , pastries ,yogurt etc etcetera. Everyone attends to the needs of the guest. Roberta ,Ilaria , Francesco and Alex are a great group that run the hotel with a smile. Even the housekeeper lady was nice ! Sincerely ,Marisa Furgal Buffalo N.Y.
The hotel is in a good position. Very clean. Very generous and varied breakfast and a good variety of gluten free products. The staff was very efficient, helpful and friendly. Had a wonderful 3 day stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Milazzo.
We really enjoyed this B&B. The breakfast was very nice. Piero was a great host. He recommended a specific tour to the Aeolian Islands that was wonderful. We weren't sure what to expect staying in Milazzo but were pleasantly surprised.
Tastefully furnished apartment, very close to lovely pebbly beach and views of Aeolian Islands.
Veronica and Massimo friendly and attentive hosts, provided helpful suggestions of local area and places to eat out.
It is very conveniently located across from the ferry dock making it easy to catch my boat to the Aeolian islands the next day. Check in was easy, they texted me the code.
Walking distance to the Milazzo Port. The host also gave me a free ride to the train station the next day. He also recommended a very good place to have great dinner.
