Our stay at Max was beyond amazing. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our condo was equipped with everything we needed just as if we were at home. Our favorite thing to do was go upstairs to the Beacon lounge to play games and go out to the sunset terrace. The pool was the hangout and we made so many friends. Big shout out to Lisa and Sean. They welcomed us with smiles and set the tone for our vacation. I can't remember the name of the other gentlemen working. I do know he was from Jamaica and had only been with the Max for a short time. He was extremely helpful with us getting upstairs to our room. We had a lot of bags and he assisted us while my husband parked the car. Thanks again for everything you guys did to make our stay 1 for the books!!!

It was Jeep week at Daytona while we were there.
It was Jeep week at Daytona while we were there. We didn't know how loud and busy the beach would be because Jeeps love to drive up and down the beach all day long. Duane, the owner mentioned it but we didn't know how that would affect sitting on the beach.
We needed to be there for our granddaughter who was attending a ballet conference at the convention center so the location for that was great, but if you want a quiet, relaxing beach experience don't come to Daytona when it's Jeep week.

We enjoy Daytona Beach and go 2 or 3 times a year. We love the packed sand on the beach so that we can ride our bikes and take long walks. There are lot of nice beachfront hotels and restaurants on the water which we love!

Daytona has changed a lot since I visit in 2003 for the first time to 2024 last weekend. The sand is disappearing and the water seems to be too close to the retention walls of the properties. I remember having to walk from the stairs to the water, people where lying down in the sand. Now it is dangerous to do it due to cars passing by too close from people for my liking. Still is one of my favorite places. Still is THE BEACH I LOVE.

There is a lot to see in the Daytona Beach area.
There is a lot to see in the Daytona Beach area. I discovered a new place, The Daytona Beach Aquarium, which is new and expanding as well. Instead of building more for this attraction they did a great job of repurposing a former retail area. I will be revisiting that attraction for sure. Like all areas of the world the climate has taken a toll in recent years, but Daytona area is doing a wonderful job of getting things restored. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that like any place including where you live everyday it is wise to know your surroundings. I attended opening day of the Tortugas at Jackie Robinson Ballpark with my son and daughter-in-law and was delighted to see how the area came out to support their team. There is far more to see and do in that area if you take the time to research what is there.
Yes, Hilton was very underrated. I booked large room including breakfast but they didn’t allow us to have breakfast. we were eight guest including 4 children. The hotel didn’t allow us to have breakfast and they said we need to pay if we do the breakfast. We’ve been treated very badly. We came to USA from LONDON for holiday, but this hotel treat us as they are underrated hostels. We’re so unhappy and ashamed for the food issues. We want out full refund as disgusted on our summer holiday.
We had a beautiful stay here at Daytona Beach. The room was exceptional, with beautiful furnishings, cooking facilities, and balcony facing towards the beach. The room is on the 4th floor of a resort condo block with parking for 1 car. There are shops and limited restaurants just across the road. Check-in was easy via booking.com's messaging features. We only stayed 1 night, but wished we could return! We even saw a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral in the distance...
I have been going to Daytona Beach area for over 30 years and have been staying at the Big hotel chains all this time..This trip i decided to stay here and was glad i did..The beach and pool is not important for us..The view/balcony and comfort is.Breakfast was also included since i am a Genius 2,but did not partake in it..There are grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations etc etc very close..and access to 95 right there..Will definitely stay here again..
For what we thought was cheap motel/hotel and a night at Daytona shores away from Orlando during our holiday, it was the perfect spot, very clean and the staff particularly Eddy were friendly and efficient, my only negative (and not the hotels fault) sat watching the sunrise and the mosquitos had a ball, so remember bug spray if you are wanting to watch the sunrise/sunset
Thank you for a wonderful relaxed time
The room exceeded our expectations, especially in size. Reception staff were friendly & helpful, and the daily late afternoon get together in the lobby for a drink was a nice touch. There isn't much for activities in the vicinity of the hotel other than the beach, but there is a nice miniature golf course a couple blocks south, along with an IHOP, a pizza hut & a grocery store within 2 - 4 blocks south.
Beautiful beachfront location, heart of Daytona Beach, private beach, super clean ocean, perfect sized waves for family. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All the tenants were very friendly as well. Extremely family friendly. We had room 1005…the most beautiful oceanfront view along with a full view of the pool and rec area. We traveled with 3 kids, my husband and myself.
The folks at Hilton have done a nice job sprucing up this dowdy building. The interiors are all updated, and there are nice facilities in this hotel. Everything works well--TV, WiFi, etc. The beach is right out back and is nice and clean. There is also a pool in the rear that folks seemed to enjoy.
Beautiful hotel. Nice and clean. Parking garage parking. We stayed in the King bedroom oceanfront suite with oceanview and it was amazing. The view was breathtaking, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast wasn't free, so we ate breakfast across the street at Starlite Diner, which was very good.
Didn’t like anything about it. It was dirty, and it smelled like cigarettes, burn cigarettes on top of the counter. No pool when they said they had a pool. People living in the hotel and there was no one on the front desk. Everything was through text. We just left to an other hotel…
Was not told the pool and beach access was under construction.. but, I wasn’t too upset seeing how I got such a great price per night with not a bunch of extra hidden charges , that’s rare when booking anything in Daytona beach and elsewhere
In a really convenient location in Ormond Beach, just outside Daytona Beach Shores. Plenty of shops etc nearby and a short run to a great choice of bars and restaurants. Very good location for visiting Daytona International Speedway.
The view from the room was spectacular, located in the more quiet area of town and away from the craziness of Daytona beach shores. The room was spacious and the hotel itself held itself to a higher standard clearly.
the Hotel was in a great location near Daytona Beach. The staff was very nice. we ran into the manager and she made sure the entire staff was up to par. the breakfast was pretty decent. Hot and cold foods.
The hotel felt old and weathered. The bar was an awful experience, under staffed and waited for a cocktail. I am a Hilton Honor and never once was given a water.
Fantastic location right on the beautiful Daytona beach. Amazing staff and facilities. Food was great with friendly service. All round excellent hotel.
