Currently is hotel under reconstruction, that was kind of a surprise in the morning when drilling started.
Room was clean in general, although we found a loong hair in the bathroom (under the bathroom towel), little small hairs on the sheets, spiderwebs in the corner..
This is our third visit to this hotel, we use it as an overnight stop on our way to our ski break at half term. The location is ideal, rooms are clean and spacious enough for the three of us. We ate in the restaurant and had a lovely meal. There is so much for younger children to do in the entrance area to keep them entertained which I think i'd probably appreciate if my daughter was younger!
we travel to Lyon for one night and two days. In my opinion, the location is far away from the city center but you can reach it in 45min by bus & metro(the bus station is exactly in front of hotel door). the room was clean and big enough for two-person. the light of the room was good. staff was very welcoming they can speak English that very helpful for foreigners.
Location is good (for the expo), plenty of free parking, free wifi was good (and you don't have to fill in your life story to access it), very good shower and easy check in / out.
They also don't want a credit card on record like so many other hotels (even if you have pre-paid).
The restaurant/bar is good.
The owner is a very nice and friendly guy. The room was warm enough, spacious, had everything you need. The breakfast (paid) was good. There's a tram station 1min walk from the hotel which is located in a residential area and the metro is 5min walk from the hotel.
The design of the hotel is really nice. The staff was really friendly (check-in/check-out - restaurant/bar). The breakfast was amazing (fresh fruits/pancakes/pastries/great selection of jams and yoghurts)
We didn’t take our breakfast in the hotel but there were some biscuits and a kettle to make tea/coffee so that was very pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was completely clean!
The welcoming atmosphere, the bar open late and a generous breakfast. We also ate very well in the evening at the restaurant. A hotel perfectly located on our way to our ski resort.
the location is very good : close to the EuroExpo and on site free parking is really nice. The rest of the hotel is very basic and the rooms are really small.
The hotel was in a good location for us with easy access to trams.
Staff were helpful when we had to leave very early in the morning.
Bathroom was lovely
