This is an experience! The rooms are small but well appointed and the ambiance is amazing. We did their buffet breakfast in the morning and it was lovely.

Set in an abbey dating back to the 11th century, Grand Hôtel de l'Abbaye is located in Beaugency, 15 mi from the Chateau de Chambord. It is close to many châteaux in the Loire Valley and is classified as a Historic Monument. All rooms offer a view of the river and free WiFi is provided throughout. The property offers a 19th-century broiler, where guests can watch their dinner being cooked upon request. Dinner can also be served on the terrace with views of the Loire River. Free private parking is available on site. The veranda facing the Loire and all the bathrooms in the rooms were renovated in 2024
