It was near stores and restaurants close to many beaches
This California hotel is a 30 minute drive from downtown San Diego. This hotel features an outdoor pool and a hot tub. A refrigerator is available in all suites.
Small town with a really good Chinese Restaurant. Very close to a nature reserve with great trails for hiking, and a place to go horseback riding. I highly recommend both the staff and horses at Ponyland. They even have a small petting zoo.

Do not stay here. I left within 15 minutes of checking in. The TV had been stolen from the room, a drug addict staying next door tried to get into my room as soon as I got there, the lock on the door was broken, there were drug deals happening out front, the sheets were covered in red and brown stains, the room was awful. I don’t expect 5 star hotels, but I was genuinely scared I’d be murdered if I stayed here so I left almost immediately and drove to another motel.

You cheated me out of breakfast THAT I PAID FOR.
You cheated me out of breakfast THAT I PAID FOR. There was a little sign in the lobby apologizing for the fact that you no longer serve, and the excuse was, we're trying to change the website. Trying? It takes an IT pro minutes to do that. When I tried to find my room, all of the walkway lights were out in the pitch black. I had to go back and ask to have the lights turned on in a very dicey neighborhood. The exterior of the hotel looks totally shabby. I don't care if it's in a dicey neighborhood, I'm not a dicey client. I ALWAYS stay at your hotels, look me up. You owe me.

Pros: Stayed in a re-modeled room which was good.
Pros: Stayed in a re-modeled room which was good. Girl at front desk was great!
Cons: Police arrived at 2 AM in the morning due to a fight 2 doors down from us. Needless to say there was a lot of commotion going on and we were needing rest from a long travel day with another long day ahead of us.

Upper management should visit this location and do a thorough walk around the facility and check the entire perimeter and check each room.
My suggestion dont let the staff on site know you're coming.
I actually really liked this hotel, the fact that they don't charge deposit is great. I really liked how clean it was. We got there early and the guy on the front desk was kind enough to check us in at 12 when check in was at 2. The air conditioning wasn't working and they replaced it right away. For two nights last minute it was super affordable. I'm definitely coming back here! Very close to the border the 906 bus takes you straight to there!
the front desk staff were very nice, the room was lovely and very clean and the beds were comfortable. they have upgraded bath products in the bathroom and a nice refrigerator and microwave. The free breakfast was wonderful! hot scrambled eggs, sausages, breads, pastries, waffles and even yogurt and fruit as well as cereal. I was very impressed with this hotel!
Quick convenient place to stay at if you have business across the border as this is one of the last hotels and stops before crossing over.Good value, comfy, not the best but will definitely get the job done at an affordable price.Denny's is a few seconds away from the property if you're looking for a bite to eat.
