Rene was amazing. He checked us in and when our first room wasn’t up to par, he made sure to get us a new one and he called us afterwards to make sure our second room was perfect. Overall, our stay was a 10/10.

Austin is a city like no other in Texas. A haven for the cool and creative, musicians and music fans flock by the hundreds to this ‘Live Music Capital of the World’ for yearly festivals like Austin City Limits and South by Southwest.
Historic downtown Austin is the seat of Texas government, and the seat of fun and entertainment for locals and visitors. Congress Avenue is the main artery through the city centre, leading you to the impressive Texas State Capitol building at the end. Just off Congress is 6th Street, the popular entertainment district with its quirky bars and fine restaurants.
Away from the hustle and bustle is tranquil Zilker Park, a 350 acre oasis in the heart of the city. Here you can wander through the Zilker Botanical Gardens, or take a dip in the inviting Barton Springs Pool, a natural spring where locals swim year round. A walk around Town Lake at sunset is a must.
Austin is also home to the University of Texas, where about 50,000 students are enrolled each year which ensures a fun and youthful atmosphere throughout the city.
It is possible to get around Austin by bicycle and bus, and Austin International Airport is only 13 kilometres from the city centre. From motels to resorts, Booking.com offers accommodation as unique as the city itself.
Visited Austin to see family members. Picked the Extended Stay near Lakeline mall on the 183 service road, as it was convenient to the area they live in. The Lobby area was not clean, floors were dirty, the parking area needed to have the trash picked up. The outside entrance was very dirty and did not seem to be very safe. The floors of the elevator matched the lobby floors as they were equally as dirty. As we entered the floor for our room the lack of housekeeping continued.
When we got to our room it also needed to have the carpets cleaned. In summary the pictures online must have been taken when the hotel first opened as they were not a good example of what it actually is. I have stayed in dozens of hotels over the years and would not recommend this one to my worst enemy.

We are Austinites and decided to stay at the Fair Mont for a Mother’s Day getaway. I’ve stayed there before however she hadn’t. She had an incredible time and that in itself meant the world to me. Our room was amazing as well as the view from it. The restaurants and all of the staff were amazing too from the time that we arrived and throughout our entire stay. Everyone went above and beyond by making our staycation unforgettable. We highly recommend the Fairmont and we will definitely be back soon.

Austin is a vibrant city with an eclectic mixture of old and new. It has a vibrancy that only comes from a city on the move! You can still get plenty of authentic Texas bbq and tex mex fare as well as other good restaurants. Public transport is excellent and easy and inexpensive to use.

The airport is not a pleasant one.
The airport is not a pleasant one. I hope I never have to return to Austin. The place is not comfortable. They don't have sleep pods or Minute Suites. The baggage claim disorganization is almost as bad as Miami and they aren't as big or busy as an excuse.
We absolutely loved staying in the Hidden Oasis. The hosts were great and quick to respond to any messages and check in was super easy.
The property is located in a very quiet area just outside of the city and has everything we needed plus more. The garden is lovely and great for a barbecue, it also has a great play den that the kids really enjoyed.
It’s also close enough to the city for a stroll in the park (+-10min drive to Zilker park) or going sightseeing in downtown Austin.
The hotel was great! it was clean, the room was spacious & the bed was so comfortable & big! I had a room with a bathtub & the shower was also great. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful & welcoming, I had an absolutely great stay! I will definitely be back 👍🏽
The location is a 10 minute cab drive from Downtown Austin & it’s really easy to get to. The price was also very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.
The bed was mega comfortable, were the burns in the comforter, yes, but we brought our own blankets and it was the most comfortable hotel bed i’ve ever slept on! all lamps and facilities worked
shower head was new
location is kinda sketch but worth it to be near downtown austin for such a cheap price
no homeless or scary characters milling about, and we were there ACL weekend one, very quiet
Spotlessly clean, very quiet location (despite one of the reviews claiming otherwise, great location central to all parts of Austin, the bed & pillows extremely comfortable. The room even came with free Showtime on the TV and there is a great seafood restaurant with in walking distance of the hotel. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Texas!!
It's in a good location just over a bridge and walking distance to downtown Austin. It's on a direct Metrocap bus route 20 to/from airport only 1 dollar 25. The room was a great size with a kitchen area, living area, bed area and a good sized bathroom. Cupboard and lots of storage space. Room had a balcony. It was a bit too cold when I was there to sit out.
absolutely stylish, very beautiful. The hotel is located in a nice new area which feels very safe. It is a bit of a way to downtown, but that’s just common in the US. The staff is very nice, I especially want to point out the Valet employees that would always run to open the door (which for me really isn’t necessary, but they were so nice about it!)
The location is so close to Downtown Austin and other fun spots in the city, the front desk staff was funny and friendly from the first interaction, and I liked the remodeled look of the rooms. Once all of the facility's amenities are back up and running, this will be a hard hotel to be at for the price.
The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean, large, and spacious. The hotel was within 20-25 minute walking distance of everything. Including downtown Austin, West 6th Street, Rainey Street, and South Congress. The happy hour the hotel offered was really cool and the continental breakfast was AWESOME!
In town for concert at ACL Live at Moody Theater, 10-min walk from hotel. Easy access on foot to myriad of restaurants and music venues. Rate hard to beat for hotel in downtown Austin. Only catch being small room (150m2), but well appointed, new, comfy. Choice of street- vs courtyard-facing room.
Location is in the edge of campus and made visiting my son easy - Once your tire of student life - it is $10 Uber or 30/40 min walk to go downtown and soak up some Austin history and culture . Recommend small group walking tour and free tour of The Capitol
This was an affordable room for our stay for the eclipse. We liked being on the top floor and being in close proximity to downtown Austin. It was easy to get on the highway from the hotel and was only a few minutes away from most things we wanted to do.
The location is a plus. The domain it's a nice place to stay it. The bus to go to Austin downtown is 2 blocks from the hotel. Supermarkets and bars are so close to the hotel. It's a quiet and relax place
