Beautiful, walkable city retaining its character with numerous roman ruins and historic sites. Fun to explore tiny side streets and great restaurants. Watch out for the Mistral - you might need layers or a warmer jacket!

It doesn’t get so many tourists but tourist traps abound. But if you look selectively for a good restaurant you will find several and we had four outstanding dinners. It’s small but cozy and clean with lots of cute squares for tea or a drink. Several good museums and roman monuments. Four days is not too long.

The Easter feria is a good time to visit Arles, although food and service can be as low as 'poor'. Plenty of culture from Roman ruins to street bands. Excellent and elegant Museum of Arles. Wonderful street market on Saturdays with high quality goods. Shops, ranging from very high end local produce and clothing, to convenience stores, most open all (public holiday) weekend.

Arles is just gorgeous, but I also really recommend a guided trip into the Camargue, stunning nature and history. We were guided by Christophe from the official guide association, great experience. Also, the saturday market is a must! A lot of great things on offer to take with you on a picknick in the country-side just outside of Arles!

Charming city. Easy walk to all sights.
Charming city. Easy walk to all sights. Interesting Roman ruins and beautiful Romanesque church. Excellent archeological museum. Welcoming and helpful people. Beautiful little shops. Highly recommended.
We had Le Rodin as a starting and endpoint for a 5 day bicycle round trip; Camarque-Nimes-Avignon-StRemy de Provence. For this Le Rodin was perfect since we could rent the bicycles at the hotel, which cooperate with the company 1VelocArles, also rent bags and what we needed for the trip. The bicycles where citybikes, perfectly OK for amateurs like us,
William and the other at the hotel were very nice, also fixed a lunch specially for us when we arrived "of hours" and the kitchen was closed.
We really enjoyed the location, just a 10 minute drive from Arles. Very good value for money compared to the prices of Arles city centre.
Very nice village with swimming pools and restaurants. Not all the activities were accessible, such as mini golf.
The room had a kitchenette, a balcony and air-con.
I would highly recommend it for people exploring the area looking for good value for money and wanting to access a swimming pool to refresh at the end of the day.
This hotel is very nostalgic for me . I stayed in Arles 50 years ago and the Source brought it all back to me . Its very old fashioned (but with modern conveniences .) The very friendly service , the garden with its old trees, everything is charming in its unassuming authenticity. Great big breakfast and we got lots of tips in English of what to do and where to go in Arles , which also hasn’t changed they much in 50 years !
It was a lovely boutique hotel and had the most amazing rooms and bathrooms decorated so beautifully , so private and very quirky . The gardens were so lovely and the resident cat and dog were so friendly. Need a car to travel to Arles but we knew its location when we booked it. The pool was lovely and had a great stay with our two kids who enjoyed the pool at night without restrictions. Lovely staff who were polite and helpful.
The hotel is located on the left river of the Rhone. This is a good solution if you come by car, in fact in this area parking is free and the center of Arles is 15/20 minutes walking. The room was clean and nice, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was nice and called us in advance to know if the check-in had to be done after 20:00. This is why at night the stuff is not present in the hotel.
Excellent small hotel, perfect for exploring old Arles. Good value secure parking ( less expensive than on street)
Nathalie was a friendly and efficient host. Would highly recommend.
We had a beautiful large room with a terrace on the first floor, extremely comfortable bed with quality linen….. felt spoilt!!!
Hope to see you again Nathalie.
The location of the hotel was excellent and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Car parking was in the Centre Ville public car park at a discounted rate but it is possible to drop bags off at the hotel door if you call reception to lower the bollard in the road.
Our room was very clean and comfortable with luxury toiletries.
Lovely little hotel in the wonderful town of Arles.
I arrived on a motorcycle which I was able to park outside. It’s a restricted area but not a problem on a motorcycle.
Julie helped me unload and was very helpful throughout.
Small but comfortable room with a lovely breakfast.
I will stay again for sure.
I can’t imagine a better location or place to stay in Arles. Our host was generous and responsive. The place is tucked into one of the best old neighbourhoods; quiet but steps away from all the attractions. One block from the river bank of Van Gogh’s Starry Night. Perfect!
Superb hotel in every respect--the hotel is charming, the location ( a few hundred meters from the Ampitheatre) couldn't be better, the room was good size, the breakfast excellent. We'll return when we visit Arles again.
Truly charming Hotel, in the heart of Arles, very close to the amphitheater and many amenities. Easy to walk everywhere. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast is truly special. Highly recommend it.
Staff greeted us with local figs and cold water. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Family size room had plenty of room. Location was perfect to walk and see the city sites and restaurants. It is a charming hotel.
Beautiful house in the middle of nowhere. We had to rent bikes in Arles to get there, but it was worth it! Bikes from "Tacoandco.fr" were great.
Gérard is a very friendly and welcoming host! Great experience!
The location is excellent. Brit Hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from the train station and is next door to LaVolver, one of the better eateries in Arles.
The lift is good sized and works.
Beautiful surroundings in Arles by the centre but in a quiet position. Lovely clean airy hotel room with a great bathroom. Fab breakfast by a great host. We loved it.
Location- 5 min walk to Arles station and I the edge of the historic centre.
Spacious and comfortable room in a lovely hotel.
Staff welcoming and helpful.
